Palo / Remy Brunch? Disney Dream

Yes. We have done that before, particularly when we are cruising without kids.

Palo / Remy Brunch? Disney Dream

No, brunch is only offered on sea days. Both the Remy and the Palo Brunches are fantastic.

Picking a stateroom on the dream...

Tammy is awesome, we have used her on 4 of our 6 cruises. She knows our room preference also and always gets us a stateroom right where we want to be (except the one we booked at the last minute, but she warned us that we would get whatever room was left).

Picking a stateroom on the dream...

We were deck 7 aft on the Dream on our last cruise and it was very good. There was very little noise and we were near to the aft elevators so had a very easy time getting around, we eat at Cabanas a lot, and can get there very easily form this part of the ship. This is our usual preference on...

    Panama Canal Cruise?

I almost forgot they do a different mixology and tasting seminar every day, scotch, beers, tequila, etc. My wife and I only did the Tequila one and we regretted it that night. They also show movies all day, we saw 4 movies on the ship, Avengers, Iron Man 3 ("premear" at sea), Wreck it Ralph...

    Panama Canal Cruise?

We did the 14 day Transatlantic in May, that cruise had 10 sea days. It was fantastic. We were never bored. In fact, I think we missed some things we wanted to do. There was always activities planed by the cruise staff, who you get to know really well on these long cruises. The different...

    First time to snorkle

We really enjoyed snorkeling at Castaway Cay. The snorkeling area is isolated from he rest of the beach and there is plenty of marine life and other cool Disney stuff to see down there. That would be a good snorkeling adventure for a beginner.

    Dining on a Cruise

Espressos, cappuccinos, and mochas are an extra charge. Regular coffee is free.

    Watching movies..

Phonedave is right. I noticed that too. We have seen the Avengers, Iron Man 3, Wreck it Ralph and saw the "Premear" of Lincoln on the ship, and enjoyed every single one. It was no noisier than a normal movie theater and, I even felt more comfortable than at an on land theater. I guess...

    Special diet desserts for children?

My son has a dairy and nut allergy and the cruise has always made excellent deserts for him. He particularly likes the flourless chocolate cake, which is dairy and gluten free. They also have a non-dairy whipped topping which he really enjoys. They also carry various flavors of soy and rice...

    Pictures

On our 14 day cruise we spent over $400.00 on pictures, we purchased the package with the CD of all our pictures. That was completely worth it for us because there were so many we liked after 14 days.

What Do You Do Before Boarding?

Living in Orlando we leave the house around 8 AM. We will stop for coffee and a light breakfast (we know that we will be gorging ourselves for the next few day so we go light) and are at the port by 10:00 AM - 10:30 at the latest. We normally park at the port. We prefer to park there for...

    Dress code for dinner

I saw someone at Palo wearing blue jeans, a white button down collar short with a blue blazer and cowboy boots. They looked dressed up and management did not seem to give them a problem, so I think you can get away with jeans if they are dressy and include a jacket. I personally have always...

quick question from a first time cruiser

The tips do vary based on position but it does work out to about $12.00 per person, per day. I also found the answer in Tammy's FAQ section and quoted it here.

quick question from a first time cruiser

There are 4 tipped positions: Server, Assistant Server, Head Server, and Stateroom Host. The tips for all positions work out to $12.00 per person, per day. You can prepay your tips or they will be charged to your stateroom on the last night of the cruise. You can always reduce or increase...

    Seating arrangement for meals

Every time that 4 of us have sailed we have always had our own table. The times it was just me and my wife, we were seated with two other couples in a 6 top - all around our age and really nice people. I suggest that when you board the ship go to wherever they are doing the dining requests to...

    help with what deck /verandah?

It really does depend on your personal choices. Personally, we have been on deck 10 and did not like it because of the noise in the morning and sometimes late into the night. We prefer decks 8 or 9 on the newer ships and deck 6 or 7 on the classic ships. We also prefer aft on the classic...

They always show Monday Night Football on Funnelvision, and two years ago we were on a cruise during the National Championship game and they showed that on Funnelvision. It was a lot of fun!! Rick
