    cruise questions

I am not a big fan of deck 10 on the Dream, there is a lot of noise from the top deck at all hours. We were midship and heard them setting up deck chairs early in the morning and stacking them up late at night every day of our cruise, plus during the daytime there is noise from the guests...

    kids clothes at dinner?

On cruise casual days we let the boys (now 3 and 11) wear shorts and t-shirts. On the semi-formal nights we will put them in pants (khakis) and a nice shirt. On formal nights we have them wear dress shirts and a tie for the older one.

somebody on the transatlantic cruise in may 2014?

If it would have been just the adults the time change would not have bothered us. But we did the trip with a two year old, which affected us quite a bit because his time did not change although he ships time did. More than once he fell asleep during dinner, which would be his normal nap time...

somebody on the transatlantic cruise in may 2014?

I wore a suit to the formal nights and Palo and dress shirt and jacket (no tie) to the semi-formal nights. My wife had dresses for the formal nights and blouse/skirt or dress pants for the semi-formal nights. There were quite a few people in full tuxedo, but the suit was fine. Secret tips...

somebody on the transatlantic cruise in may 2014?

OK, Let me answer your question that we are not big pool people, so we did not go to the pools after our Castaway Cay day, day 3 or 4 (although our 10 year old went swimming almost every day). The pools were full everyday except after we crossed Gibraltar when it was too cold and rainy. Ricky

somebody on the transatlantic cruise in may 2014?

We had wonderful weather for 11 of the 14 days. It was warm during the days and cool in the evening, we all needed a light jacket If we were going to be on the deck in the evenings. There were two days of rain (one at sea and it was cold and rainy in Funchal), nothing major, and the day after...

How are they matching AquaDuck Photos to your group?

On our last cruise on the Dream we were running late and wanted to skip the embarkation photo and head right to lunch, but the cast member told us we needed to take the embarkation picture so the facial recognition would match to our room. We also had two cabins so they had us split by who was...

Palo / Remy Brunch? Disney Dream

I'll take two days at Castaway Cay over brunch any day. Brunch is fantastic, but Castaway Cay is a whole other story.
