GF for any vacation in my opinion. I have stayed all over and continue to crawl back to the GF although I do love Boardwalk too.

I thought the refurb wasn't starting until August! However when I was there in early July, the 3rd-5th floors were blocked by a scrim. Plus, when I checked-in, the guy said we may hear some noise in the lobby but the construction wasn't technically supposed to start until the day after we left.

If people are looking for luxury, go stay in one of the Grand Floridian's new rooms and get the Disney Transportation and MM+ benefits! End of story... By the way, I checked the rates at the Four Seasons when I go in November and stay at the GF: the GF was a more expensive rack rate.

The maid told me that after the Inn is done, Disney plans to remodel the Villas at the Boardwalk. And the next year, they will start renovating first at Yacht then at Beach.
