    Guess who...

Guess who realized, while sitting on his flight to Orlando at 37,000 ft, that he forgot to put his magical express luggage tags on? This guy.... My wife turned around and said, "we'll have to change our clothes when we get there because it'll be warm, but I want to take the sweatshirts so...

    What to expect next week.

That's kind of the similar story I've been reading from various sources. It doesn't really matter anyway, it's going to be what it's going to be. I was hopeful (and of course hope is nothing more than delayed disappointment) that since it's the week AFTER the week after easter, it'll be...

    What to expect next week.

Next week (starting 4/3 to 4/9) will be our first visit during spring break time. I've gone in the middle of the summer, the week before and including christmas, the first week of january, and presidents week. President's week (2015) was by far the worst. My question is, what to expect next...

You know what I just did?

Presently, it is unique to Soarin', but not 15+ish years ago.

You know what I just did?

...I ate an orange while doing something on the computer, and the smell of the orange reminded me of something, so....i went on youtube, watched a video of Horizons, and when the orange scene came up, i brought the orange up to my nose, to get the full effect. This is a great example of one...

CBR Bus transportation ... how bad is it really??

Have done both at the Caribbean beach resort. Much much much prefer using the buses. I should say that we usually pay a little more to have a preferred room which is closest to the old port royal, so we didn't have to drive there in the morning for breakfast. I'm not saying that there is...

    Rocket Launch Viewable?

Last summer, we were at the airport waiting for our flight home when there was a launch planned. We were able to get on to the roof of the airport and watched, it was kind of cool, all we really saw was a bright orange dot for a few seconds, then it was obscured by the clouds. It was too bad...

CBR Bus transportation ... how bad is it really??

As I said earlier in this thread, I've stayed there 3 years in a row. Never had any issues. We usually leave the resort an hour before the park opens, and usually leave the magic kingdom after the fireworks (the early show). I've seen seas of people waiting for the value resorts, of which I...

    Arriving one week after Easter

Planning to arrive the Sunday after Easter. What to expect regarding crowds? I should say I've been there one year the week up to and including Christmas, I've been there one year the week of president's day, and I've been there the height of the summer (June, July, August), so crowds don't...

CBR Bus transportation ... how bad is it really??

We've stayed there 3 years in a row. First week of January, mid-janurary, and then presidents week (crazy busy at parks). We never had anything negative. I've stayed at pop century before and had to wait for multiple busses at the end of the night and a scooter each and every time, but for...

I just read this about tourist traps...makes no sense.

I absolutely can deny that. Spaceship Earth is still a favorite, I like everything about the seas, living with the land, mission space, plus everything in the world showcase. I still enjoy ellen's energy adventure. The only thing that I think ISN'T very good is the "new" imagination ride.

I just read this about tourist traps...makes no sense.

I don't condemn them at all. With a few very minor exceptions, I think they only get better each time I go.

I just read this about tourist traps...makes no sense.

I just saw an article on MSN about the worst tourist traps in the country, and for some reason, Epcot was one of them. This is the paragraph about it: "When it comes to Walt Disney World, the Epcot Center is where dads go to find refuge from Magic Kingdom, the constant rides and cartoon...

    Doing Disney the "wrong way"

Before you jump all over the title, let me explain. Most people probably have many different opinions on the right way to do a disney trip, and they are all mostly true for each individual. But I think there is probably a common agreement amongst those on these boards as to the wrong way to do...

"We're going to get a Test Track for Soarin'"

That's interesting, that is about the most innocuous of all of these. I don't think that I've ever called it "Cinderella Castle", it's just the castle.

"We're going to get a Test Track for Soarin'"

Not 30 minutes ago, my kids were telling my dad about our trip, and he asked if we went on the runaway train.

    Attractions that are "shockingly" good

Many of those mentioned above plus: The Liberty Belle Riverboat. We finally rode that years back when my wife was pregnant and we couldn't do many of the rides we usually do. I LOVED it. So cool, so nostalgic. I loved the boat, the narration, the scenes. Just an awesome attraction. Swiss...

Selfie sticks - is this a thing at WDW yet? Disney clarifies policy

While watching the daytime parade at the Magic Kingdom the other day, the lady just to the right of me was constantly using her stick. Many of the pictures I took had to be re-taken because she managed put her stick in front of my camera at the exact wrong time each time. But what I didn't...
