Leaving. The attraction will stay open at least until this season of AI ends. Lookout for new prizes to be given to selected winners of the attraction. New attraction is already planned for the AI building.

Was actually there on Friday the 13th and did not see any projection or fog and heard the voice...to make matters worse...the ride shut down and we had to evacuate. We were stuck on POTC for about 30min.

Don't be surprised with the next DVC resort is built connected to Epcot. :wave:

The reason for the annoucement being so vague is because they are still working on perfecting the details. There has been some arguing between two parties about what they can and won't do. Everything right now seems to be changing. I have seen little things changing in the actual ride...

There are stuff in the pipeline for Epcot, however, with deadlines approaching I don't believe they will be opened by the 30th but rather announced for the 30th.

Actually if you look at my post history I have reported that changes were coming to DHS.... since....Sounds Dangerous closing and expansion to the theater. =)

There are numerous plans that have been thought of. However, the majority of them have been put on the back-burner. Changing the Backlot Express and Sounds Dangerous to Lucas-themed attractions would add land to DHS. Lands will be coming to DHS but unfortunately it will be a slow change...

I wouldn't count on them to announce something on New Years for DHS. Maybe first 4 or 5 months of 2012.

American Idol is not far behind. If ratings dip yet again for this show, then the attraction will also disappear. Many projects are waiting to be started for Hollywood Studios, and an announcement should be made for at least one fairly shortly.

I'm sorry but I'm not referring to either one. The parks are starting to receive some attention and will continue once a theme park is done with their overhaul.

Thanks! I believe I know what projects he is referring to, however, (not to sugarcoat) there are other projects being considered and mainly for DHS. I know one of the projects that was cancelled was Epcot which po'ed a lot of Imagineers.

Can you post a link to this post please? I'm aware of more than two major projects being canned...however, there are numerous things planned for DHS, more will be announced or leaked in the coming weeks.

there is still more to come to DHS. this is only the beginning of the major refurbishment of everything hollywood studios.

There are plans to bring something from DLP to DHS but it is not set in stone yet. More than likely it will happen.

hmmmmm...work being done at hollywood studios? i wonder who said this before? lol....

They are a little ahead of schedule, however, Legoland is only a small factor why they are trying to push this project ahead.
