I think it's worth noting to that the Parks blog says "film" as opposed to "show" that distinction might be trivial, but I doubt it. A film you preserve. The other elements make up the remainder of the show.

I'd prefer Futurama over the Simpsons. The characters, settings and stories lend themselves better to theme park attractions. I feel like the "cult" status of the property is also an advantage. It's the right type of edge for an edgier DHS. Neither is great, but Futurama ticks more boxes, IMHO...
