News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

That I can agree with. The bar is kind of in hell as far as Tomorrowlands go, but I can agree with you on this! At least until we see what Tokyo's looks like when they're all done tinkering with it.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

All of that is true about the other parks, yes. They've lost a lot of their unique things, and it's a shame. But what has MK lost during Iger's tenure that was totally unique to MK? And by totally unique, I don't mean something that once existed at multiple parks but MK's ended up being the last...

TEAM PHOENIX PRESENTS A WALT DISNEY WORLD UPDATE FROM SCOTT GUSTIN ON THE SILLY SYMPHONY THAT JUST ARRIVED AT DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

We’re pretty much on the same page here, even though it may not sound like it. When I say I’m glad they’re breaking away from the desert cowboy thing and embracing other parts of what was at one time a “frontier”, I mean that I am glad that they’re moving away from those stereotypical...

News New Haunted Mansion Grounds Expansion, Retail Shop Coming to Disneyland Resort in 2024

As easy as you make it, I suppose. If you choose to fixate on it as you pass by, impossible. If you choose to just treat it as a structure you're passing without paying much thought to it beyond that, it'll exist only as long as you're standing next to it.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

That's why I really, really hope as times goes on, they start to give MK more that is unique to MK. It's kind of crazy that as the most visited theme park in the world, it is comprised almost entirely of things you can find better versions of at various other Disney parks around the world. It's...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Frontierland is a perfect name for what they're doing. The American frontier wasn't relegated to one specific geographical area, no matter how much theme parks and Hollywood wants to act like it was only the deserts of the wild west. It's now actually becoming a real representation of the...

News Red Car Trolley to close February 8, 2025

I think what I’m saying is getting lost in the poor way I worded it. I don’t think that losing the Trolley is a wonderful thing and I definitely think that making DCA a better version of the park it started as would be the better option. However, that’s not what they’ve done. they have...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

That is true yes! And this time may not be any different. But, I also feel that the context of this whole project is also different than Pandora. I get the sense that this project will result in a more prominent change to the way AK is approached than Pandora did.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

Doesn’t OLC have a thing where they don’t want their original rides cloned

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

It’s no more out of place than Splash (a ride meant to be based around Georgia) was and Tiana’s (a ride set in Louisiana) is. Its very clear the purpose here is that Frontierland stops being explicitly visually themed to the wild west aesthetic with the random water ride outlier and instead...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I am rather confident in saying that once everything is said and done, AK will start staying open later.

News Red Car Trolley to close February 8, 2025

The more California they take out of this park, the better this park will be. The caught between two worlds thing is not doing the park any favors. It’s gotta be one or the other.

Disneyland 70th Anniversary Thread - Wishlist, Rumors, Speculation, Announcements

Right like I can’t imagine what would have possessed them to say that if not to try and start something. Even if it were the same colors…so? Probably wasn’t on purpose and specifically highlighting that color scheme as an issue on the basis of it being trans flag colors is just gross.

What trans flag Mickey shirt? Are you talking about the color scheme of the anniversary outfits?

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

I don’t think that PatF is going to get turned into a film. There isn’t really demand for that. The only reason Moana’s show was converted was because of the undeniable popularity of the original film. People like PatF, but not enough for Disney to spend the money to pivot away from a series...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

There is dirt moving there. We’ve already seen it. We’ve known this whole time they were gonna do the other half of the area first so they could leave Dinosaur running as long as possible. Why are we pretending they’re not doing anything as if an entire half of the area won’t be under active...

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

It seems pretty inevitable that Moana 2 is going to cross a billion before the end of the year. Absolutely am anticipating the announcement of another sequel to a recent film in the coming months. My bets are on an Encanto follow up right now.

News New Villains Show Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Summer 2025

My guess is the show is going to primarily be about the villains viewing what happened to them as unjust. The heroes got their happily ever after, but the villains got an unfair ever after, as in they got something they feel they didn't deserve. I get the vibes that it may be a cabaret-style...
