True. However they don’t post it anywhere which creates a gray area. Property owners are certainly able to prohibit weapons, but they’re supposed to post that in a prominent place near entrances so that guests are aware. If Disney does this I’ve never seen it.

Because their unrealistic expectations weren’t met on their exact unrealistic timeline.

So basically they’re taking the crap from the co-op that never sold, but now requiring a subscription.

Most promotions give the illusion of a discount, but don't really save much if any money. Haven't priced it in years, but free dining used to be the same way. Yes, free dining credits, but you pay full rack rate for the room. So were you really saving money? Or did you just feel like you got a deal?

Started staying off-site in 2013, and still do unless attending a conference. Architecture and style aside, the amenities and luxuries with Disney's "deluxe" resorts are laughable. Stayed at Yacht Club in January and aside from being able to walk to Epcot, I felt like I was at a mediocre Marriott.

I didn't realize I had to squeeze every single thought and emotion into every single post. I guess my lack of virtue signaling clearly indicates I'm in favor of fighting at the parks, you caught me! Are you going to also go after the 20+ people that liked my comment? It seems you have plenty of...

I remember when people went to the parks to enjoy its attractions, not to meet vloggers and lifestylers.

Many. I was just at the Yacht for a conference and it was in poor shape. Common areas beat up and dated. Rooms cheap, and the furniture felt like what I'd see in a Springhill Suites. Mediocre food. Terrible front desk service. The only reason to stay at a Disney "deluxe" hotel is for location.

Disney has never built a true luxury property. IMO, they've never come close or even outdone an average Marriott. I hope you're right, but I'm not sure they're capable of doing so.

Saw them last night. Too bright; the sublety is ruined. Here's my problem: with all the problems and cutbacks, who decided to spend money on something that has been fine for decades?

Been missing since at least Dec. 17.

What a waste of a thread. Fewer than ten posts with any substance, and the rest mostly comprised of even more childish bickering than normal. When Steve reports on this, I'll consider it worthy of my time. Until then, enjoy.
