The moderates and deluxes also offer an assortment of amenities through room service. these can be more themed to the hotel than the generic stuff from the florist. anything but alcohol can be put in to room prior to check-in.

Don't forget Disney took over all-star cafe for awhile before turning it into a QSR. So not without precedent that they could take over these restaurants. More likely landry's will close underperforming restaurants and try to reorganize as a smaller entity.

Wonder if it has anything to do with the new 1000 room Hilton going in next to the Waldorf-Astoria in the Bonnet Creek Resort area. Maybe Hilton was going to leave DD and this is a way Disney is enticing them to stay.

Ah someone finally sees the myth that is "free dining" take the slowest time of the year. a time when they use to deep discount the rooms in order to fill them. Now offer "free dining" but charge full price for the rooms. now the hotels are full, the restaurants are full.

the 2 smoking areas are by the pool and out in front of the hotel. the only time i ever have seen characters at the hotel was during the hurricanes 4 years ago when the parks closed and every christmas eve.

I love the monorail as much as the next guy but think about it. why would you expand? all the routes people keep talking about wouldn't get used that much. epcot to studios, epcot to dtd, studios to ak. if you look at the bus stops outside the parks there are the 3 stops to the other 3 parks...

Or you could park at DTD take a bus to one of the resorts transfer to the MK bus thus saving the $11 parking fee and then use the $11 for a second burger

When Disney bought Pixar it was a stock for stock deal. Jobs was the major shareholder of Pixar so with the deal he became the major shareholder of Disney. (I believe he owns around 2% of the co ) They put him on the Board of Diectors as well.
