News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disneyland opening reports/reviews

Buzz, Small World, Goofy's Sky School and Roger Rabbit don't "need" fastpass, but they have it. When I was at Disneyland on a busy day in December the posted wait for MFSR was 70 minutes and they were using a large portion of outdoor queuing. Fastpass will help alleviate this.

What's with the wait times!? (hint.. they're low)

Had one day to do Disneyland yesterday and it was certainly a busy day but not unmanageable. Did fastpass for everything except Indy (which we did at rope drop). Fantastyland dark rides were a walk on in the morning. Longest we waited all day was around 30 mins for Nemo subs and Pirates, and...

    Universal Singapore

I was there just over a week ago on the 25th November. Very busy due to the schools being out. They are very inefficient with loading compared to the Orlando parks. Only one side at Mummy for loading, limited number of rafts at Jurassic, one train per track for the big coasters - the problem...

    Universal Singapore

Yepp, it is really tiny compared to the Orlando parks. Can walk around it in less than 10 minutes.

    Universal Singapore

I've been several times, and it's never too busy. Longest line is usually the Jurassic Rapids, but they do have single rider so you can skip most of it if you don't mind splitting. Mummy and Transformers also has single rider. The two coasters can get busy, but you'll find the park really...

    Confused about new FP

4 Disney days now complete. After being a real sceptic of the new system I honestly think it is brilliant. For Epcot we chose Soarin, Mission Space and Spaceship Earth FP, did Single Rider for Test Track, and got another FP for Mission Space later in the day. Headed to MK and got a new FP...

    Journey to Atlantis Closed?

Rode it yesterday. As said very few effects working. Very little audio working, none of the mermaids faces etc.

    Confused about new FP

Well... It worked! We hit Animal Kingdom yesterday morning and used our FP+ on Everest, Safari and Dinosaur, hit Kali first thing for a walk on, waited only 20 mins for primeval whirl, and saw festival of LK/tough to be a bug. Headed to EPCOT when the rain started and got FP for Imagination...

    Confused about new FP

Thanks for all the info guys. Im starting to miss just putting my ticket in and getting a time back already! Will create an MDE account today, hadn't thought of doing that, and will get booking on Thursday! Glad to hear most things are available. Luckily for us we have zero interest in the...

    Confused about new FP

Hi Guys, First time at disney in 5 years coming up next week. We came across some old parkhoppers from the 1990s which still have 4 days on them, and we are going to get these converted at guest relations downtown disney the day we arrive. How do we go about booking fast passes? Can we do it...

    Annual pass question

Hi folks Sorry to ask but need some last minute advice. Can I buy the AP which has blackout dates and use it on my first day of purchase (tomorrow) even though I'd be using it on a blackout date. I know USH had the rule that blackout dates didn't apply on the day of purchase. Many thanks...

    Universal Studios Singapore - Review

Just thought I'd share some thoughts on the park in Singapore which I've been lucky enough to go to now through my travels with work. I've only ever been to the Florida parks before. If I had to use one word to describe Universal Singapore - Small! That's not to say there is not a lot to do...

If Madagascar is going into Kidzone in 2016/2017...

Why are you so intent with something replacing Toon Lagoon when there is plenty of other expansion areas that won't involve the replacement of anything? Toon Lagoon has two great rides, they aren't getting rid of it.

    "Universal Studios"...... Yeah right!

No worse than the "Disney" studios - Star Wars, Muppets, The Twilight Zone, Aerosmith.

Size of Universal parks compared to WDW Parks???

To do everything (especially if you like all the coasters/thrills) 1 day would be pushing it. 2 days is much better. We actually did 4 days last time and still could have done with longer! IOA has 16/17 rides and Universal Studios only around 10 but a lot of shows to see.

"Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure" OR "SeaWord"???

I would save Sea World for another trip, purely because you get a second day free at sea world which would be wasted.

    Epcot, Animal Kingdom

Something brand new! Not rehashed from any of the other parks.

Don't Eat in the parks/Take your own water

I must say the Popcorn is DIVINE!!! I ate so much. One day at Universal we bought the bucket where you got 70cent refills and it was all we ate all day (SOO unhealthy but so so so so beautifully good, we don't get popcorn like that ANYWHERE in the UK.)
