How about a 2019 iteration with the Dreamfinder? We don't all want Epcot Center from the 1980's resurrected as it was then - some of us just aren't so creatively constrained and IP obsessed that we believe there is only one way to improve the parks.

I'd have to agree. I can understand the complaints about POTC and why Disney felt they had to alter certain scenes - I just don't see any cause for the same kind of complaints about the Tiki Room.

It would be nice if this extended downtime became permanent as part of an overhaul of the land. The current theme has outlived it's purpose - DAK needs better, and the concept of the land should lend itself to something so much better than Chester & Hester.

The Disney Parks Blog has completely destroyed Tom Corless’ credibility 🤣 (if he ever had any). Not that that is stopping him from taking credit for “saving” the Country Bears - his credibility may be in the toilet but his audacity is almost admirable.

Corless is making himself look increasingly worse through his response to the statement (which I think was on the mark) - he should take it on the chin, re-evaluate his sources and move on. He’s coming across as incredibly petty IMO.

Can't imagine a more appropriate time for expanding the Magic Kingdom further than its 50th anniversary. It's an equally inappropriate time to get rid of classic opening day attractions.

You could almost taste the salt of his tears in his response. It's the "most unprofessional statement that company has released in its history", apparently - someone doesn't like public embarrassment. Might be an idea for them to be a bit more particular about their sources in future.
