Apple is willing to pay big $$ if the location is good enough. After all, many of their recent flagships are completely new builds, and those new buildings aren't cheap.

Believe me, i'm all over that thread. Contributed quite a bit to it. ;) And Uniqlo's store is one of the single largest in the development, so it'd make sense that they might miss the opening date.

Uniqlo is now mysteriously missing from the list. There's still job postings available for the store, so i'm assuming it's still coming, but they've been having a tough time establishing themselves in the USA.

I doubt it. A majority of the retail space is now spoken for and they likely would have been trumpeted about in the press release about tenants.

American Girl wound up at The Florida Mall. As for Apple, I highly doubt there will be an announcement. If it's not a project that requires loads of government involvement like their new San Francisco and Chicago stores, they just let them pop up with minimal fuss.

I admit i'm spoiled, since I live relatively close to the San Francisco Bay Area and they have two stores plus a dozen or so department stores that carry their product. They'll be a great addition regardless.

Their parent company has been making a push to turn Sperry Top-Sider into a "lifestyle brand" with clothing and accessories to go with the shoes. Jury's still out on whether it's successful or not, I never see anyone buying at their local retail store nor their outlet.

You're likely out of luck. Kate Spade stores are solidly women's product and they shuttered all the standalone Jack Spade stores last year.

It hasn't. But it's not surprising, they operate the Pearl Factory locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. They used to have a store at Mall at Millenia, but that's been gone for a while. Nice to see them returning.
