Trip Report Land & Sea - Baja Style! - Complete

We left about midday to return to the hotel and swim. The pool is nice and crowded. We managed to find some loungers and stayed there for a while. I have no idea what we had for dinner.:D ETA: Sean says we had so much for lunch we didn't eat dinner. We made our way back to the park to ride...

We caught a cavalcade coming out of Small World. The music was a lot of fun! Next up was lunch. We were just winging it and decided the same morning to look for lunch reservations. The only place available was River Belle Terrace. I booked it with a bit of trepidation. Why did it still...

The older you get the harder it is to get in and out of the SM WDW seats!

This will be just random photos and observations. At some point, we made our way over to Star Wars land. I'm not sure it fits in the park, but it's where they put it. It's pretty empty at this point and we had reservations for Smuggler's Run. It's the same experience as at WDW, but with less...

And...we're back! We're still adjusting to the time change a bit and glad to have a few days to recover before heading back to work. I'll post pictures and they'll be loosely in order, but definitely Disneyland first and the Wonder second. Overall, we had a great time at both Disneyland and on...

First real train ride! It was easy requesting a Lyft from the resort and the route was easy. The train station is beautiful and now we're just waiting on our train to San Diego.

We've used Genie+ this entire trip. It was really great at California Adventure. We found the best way to use it was during the late afternoon/evening when it was busier. If you use it all in the AM, then you'll be waiting in long lines in the afternoon if you want to ride something again. It...

I've finally found an attraction that is better at WDW. The addition of Coco was fine. It didn't add or take anything away from show. The one thing about the version is that at the beginning with Sorcerer Mickey, the screen is very small. The whole thing was meh at best.

The past two days have been pretty great. Sean's been on about the great weather, but it's actually been sort of chilly. If you're used to WDW's weather where it's pretty warm/hot all the time, this is very different. Not bad, just different. I stand by everything I said last time in our...

This is nothing but pure luck. Most of the time, I lose horribly. The music is what really sells it. When you ascending and you hear the countdown, there's just a tiny bit of dissonance in the music to make you clench your gut in anxiety. This was the best comment! Jokes on him. I always...

If you've been reading about DCL's latest update that took several days, you'll know they screwed up. A lot of paid-in-full dates are messed up along with others (like us) that have paid in full and DCL is saying we have a balance. Wait times are crazy. I've been told they're working on it...

As part of Celebrity's entertainment lineup (which isn't as good as DCL), The Boy Band Project did not disappoint. We first saw them perform on the Celebrity Edge and again on the Celebrity Millennium. They're a little comedy and a lot of singing. I made Sean watch both shows.😆 They're such a...

We've sailed Disney, Virgin, and Norwegian and can firmly say Celebrity is a great line for food, staterooms, and what they include in their fares. They're a bit weak in scripted entertainment, but their variety acts have been really good.

🎶And it's been a while🎶 Well here we are again after a pretty long Disney hiatus, minus a holiday resort-only visit. In just a few weeks, we're off to the grand state of California! On this journey, we'll visit the Disneyland Resort and sail the Disney Wonder. Here we are! As you can see (or...

Is a Disney cruise worth it?

We are the same demographic and sailed the Edge (same class as Beyond) and had a great time. Food was better and a lot more options, rooms are very nice and the shower alone makes it better than DCL's bathrooms. The ship was beautiful and and a completely different experience than DCL. DCL's...
