I remember hearing that the refurb they did was one of the kitchen, probably some plumbing and electrical too, but not the actual room where people eat.

I read yesterday that many museums in DC (other cities too) had banished selfie sticks. Made me think of this thread. The situations sure are different, but with a little explanation, it could be done in WDW, at least partly (at least in restaurants, rides, shows... that would be a start).

Citricos might be a great alternative, but it's missing something: it's not in the castle. There will always be people - and not just children- who want to live the dream of being inside the castle. We have an ADR there later this month, and we are only going because we want to see the look in...

Don't worry about them messing up with your pictures, they won't, or it will honestly be accidental. We had great pictures taken by CMs, some that looked even better than the ones taken by the photopass photographer! So don't worry. We didn't have the Memory Maker and don't regret it.

OK, so the 42" rule is for kids riding on their own... Makes more sense now. Thanks!

I am trying to plan a short trip to SeaWorld and I know the Happy Harbor will be a must-do for our 4 year old. But the website says you have to be 42" to ride the carousel - for me there is nothing that screams small kids more than a carousel, so this height requirement seems really weird to me...

Reservations determined everything for us. We were lucky enough to know our dates 5 months ahead of time so I was able to make some reservations. The only big unknown is when - even if - we are going to be at Magic kingdom until late to see the fireworks. Our original plan fell through when we...

Renting can be a good option if you don't plan on using it after your trip, especially if you're flying there. Or get a cheap umbrella stroller (see what stores offer, select what you think would work, then bring him to the store for a short trip to see if/how he fits).

Definitely getting close! Two weeks from today we'll be painting the Magic kingdom red, lol! :p Can't wait.
