Did they switch to no paper parking passes yet?

Thanks for the info. Do you know.....do ALL bands on the reservation work? So if we go to park at the Studios.....and I pull up on the passenger side....can my wife show her band? -Kevin

Does Disney enforce age for kids meals?

As was mine when I purchased tickets and told him he's an adult!! Problem is he is the pickiest eater and honestly only ever eats "kids meals". So he wouldn't think twice about getting the chicken nuggets/mac&cheese etc. Of course his sister at 8 is more like 18.....so maybe we'll just have...

Does Disney enforce age for kids meals?

Thanks for the info. Guessing they know based off of the age in the profile (even though technically I could change it back to 9)? Always thought 10 was a little young to be an adult ;) -Kevin

Did they switch to no paper parking passes yet?

Staying at the WL in August. Was wondering: - Did the Wilderness switch to no paper parking passes yet? - Have all the parks switched to use the Magic Bands to get into parking? -Kevin

Does Disney enforce age for kids meals?

We are not on any dining plan......we just make general food reservations at a few places during our stay. Son is 10....so he has an adult ticket and is listed as 10 in the Disney profile. I notice that kids meals are 3-9 for most restaurants. When you make a reservation, and he is...

Wilderness Lodge - are all bunk bed rooms together?

Yeah, been meaning to get back and respond to my own post. I just found that touringplans.com site today...pretty cool. Regardless, I called to book the Disney Visa rate and asked the guy on the phone. He said most of the bunk bed rooms don't connect. So if you want the best chances of a...

Wilderness Lodge - are all bunk bed rooms together?

Does anyone know.....do they group all the Bunk Bed rooms together? Or are they all mixed in? Reason I ask is.....is it likely to be able to get connecting rooms where one is a bunk bed room, and the other a regular double queen room? Thanks if anyone knows. -Kevin

Anyone know what's going to happen to the Disney Visa Cardmembers photo spot in Innovations West? Will that move? -Kevin

Connecting Rooms - book on same reservation or not?

Thanks for the info. I'm assuming you call up and tell Disney about the 2 reservations so they know to try to get you connecting rooms? Or are you making the bookings during the same time? I've never made 2 bookings at the same time as in the past the other person going has always made their...

Discounts are out for the Summer!

Also, I'm assuming with both the Visa rates and the regular discount rates that Disney often excludes certain room levels from the offer? For example, the standard room at the Wilderness.....guessing that room might not be eligible for the discount? -Kevin

Connecting Rooms - book on same reservation or not?

Plan on going to the Wilderness Lodge again this August......but this time we might have 3 adults and 2 kids. So obviously we'd need 2 rooms. I've heard to increase the chances of getting connecting rooms, it's best to book both on the same reservation under the same name? Is this true...

Linking child tickets to an adult (10+) MagicBand + Do you get new MagicBands every year?

FYI - We typically go to Disney in August each year. So within my Disney account, I have my son listed, and he's turning 10 this year, so by the time our August trip rolls around he'll be 10. However, we have already purchased tickets (not from Disney) to save on the price increase and the...

    AAA Diamond Parking Going Away?

Do you know whether that means no more discounted tickets from AAA? We've always found AAA to be the lowest price for us. In the past we also go the benefit of the parking pass, but now that that is going away....unless the price is discounted for tickets, I see no need to use AAA anymore...

Overall I think FP+ is a nice system

Couple other things: 7) They have kiosks right outside the Jungle Cruise. We found these to often be far less crowded when we were there last week. You mileage may vary of course! 8) Some kiosks the CM's actually put up a queue line (like the one next to the Diamond Horseshoe). These tend...

Overall I think FP+ is a nice system

Yup, you can book for each day that you have a ticket for. We stayed at the WL, but bought tickets through AAA. Once I linked them into the account, they allowed us to plan out for the number of days the ticket were for. And do book right when the 60 days hits......to at least lock in rides...

Hidden gem - watch Wishes from behind the castle

First, do make sure to see Wishes as normal in front of the castle. But if you already have I can tell you, if you like fireworks in general, be sure to catch Wishes from behind the castle (right outside New Fantasyland). It really is a great experience that is not crowded and you are really...

Overall I think FP+ is a nice system

First time using the FP+ system. Overall I really liked it. Couple of thoughts on it though: 1) Definitely book as soon as you can. We were staying on property and booked all our initial 3 the first day we could. We left a day open initially and went back in to book that day much closer to...
