I agree the Redskins name is racist, though I don't see how names like Braves & Chiefs are racist, as they are portraying Native Americans as noble warriors rather than mocking their skin color. Those names are (imo) no more racist than Cowboys, Rangers, or Mariners. But Redskins...

Apparently there is some lawsuit floating around to try & get the Redskins name removed from Washington's team. Not sure ho much water the lawsuit holds, but still kinda interesting.

Off topic, but in case anyone missed it in the Sharknado!!! thread, I have posted a vivid, 100% accurate trip/photo report of our experience purchasing tickets to next week's big screen showing of Sharknado. It was quite an experience I will ever forget. p.s. Sharknado!

Hey everybody. Just to give a quick update, I went out to a local Regal Cinemas theater which will be playing Sharknado next Friday (August 02, 2013). Advanced tickets for the film officially went on sale Saturday night (7/27/13) at 11:00pm. Here is a brief report from my experience last night...

What movie did you see?

Another thing I like about Signs is the musical score. Sure, it wasn't the most epic score out there, but it built suspense and fit perfectly with the film (imo). Just those few notes played over & over again somehow did the trick, and gave the story enough without going overboard. M. Night...

That is very true. Probably why it is only being released for one day. But still, what an honor. It will be like watching it for the first time all over again...only on the big screen.

I know, right? Maybe they previewed the film on TV first to keep the lines at theaters from hitting astronomically high levels. (?) If they were to unleash all that excellence at once to the public, there would be total chaos.
