News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

For every one person who crows "Chapek is getting what he deserves!!", I cringe because this effects so much more than Chapek. No one is considering the fact that the Reedy Creek personnel are likely worried about their jobs. Or that homeowners (like me ) are worried about increased taxes...

News Disney to develop residential communities with new 'Storyliving by Disney' business

I can’t even… I’ve been living there since 1996. But sure, whatever YOU say is true.

Also, not true. There was one house that was broken in this way. Generally, most theft in town occurs from the garage or front porch. I can’t tell you how many bicycles, rocking chairs, holiday decor, and packages that have been stolen from our iconic front porches.

News Disney to develop residential communities with new 'Storyliving by Disney' business

Simply not true. It was touted as trying to reestablish and reimagine the local community concept... and many other things. It failed to achieve those things. Again, not true. It began as a local community, and continues as a local community. Also not true. It continues to be...

News Disney to develop residential communities with new 'Storyliving by Disney' business

Myself, and thousands of others who live there, disagree with you and whatever sensational news stories you post. It was set up as a resident-based community, and still thrives as such. And I can count myself as an expert as I’ve been there since the groundbreaking.

Yeah…no. That is being far too dismissive of my current high-risk level. Also, this:

No. But I had hoped we’d reach a level where I wouldn’t have to constantly think about protecting myself. You know…where’d I’d be able to “live my life” as you all say.

Meanwhile, the immunosuppressed like me are completely resigned to not being able to take off our masks for a very long time. It’s exhausting…

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

My daughter, who participated in the Novovax trial, says it’s the best vaccine EVER. She’s away at college, which frankly is Covid-central. And after all of her roommates came down with Covid, yet she remained unscathed, she boasts “Novovax for the WIN!!!”

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Novovax just submitted for approval in the US. It’s a traditional type of vaccine. Perhaps that will work for those who can’t take the MRNA ones?

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

I normally don’t agree with you, but can attest that you’re correct. It was lead story on CNN this morning.

The jury is still out on that. And, pairing our vaccine “team” results with other countries like Bangladesh, Nigeria, and Ethiopia is just…embarrassing.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Your belief that boosters are not needed for your sons literally conflict with your ongoing battle cry that we should all work harder to be more healthy as a whole, using PRE-EMPTIVE measures. Can’t have it both ways…
