News Holiday crowds at Walt Disney World theme parks 2022

It was the kick-off to the 50th celebration at MK. The park was mobbed with those who wanted to be there for the special ceremony. And I'm sure you all remember seeing the videos of guests in Emporium, frantically grabbing the 50th merchandise off the shelves and stocker carts since they HAD...

But it’s wouldn’t be just Disney hotels that would be hit by that tax. It would all of them in that county (Orange). The hotel board, or whatever group they collectively belong in, would be against it.

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

Further down on that Twitter thread, Rep Roach reminds everyone of the importance of buildings inspections by likening the potential oversight at Disney equal to another Surfside scenario. Are. You. Kidding. Me. ???????

The point: the sponsor of the bill did no research to see what the effects would be, and as a result, certainly cannot have any concrete info as to what the solution will be to resolve the issues. The workload alone to untangle the legalities of RCID and rewrite the regulations are tremendous...
