    New Disney Bus Paint Scheme

I've no idea what constitutes a "cute" bus, but whatever that means I'm sure a white bus with 90s era graphics ain't it.

    New Disney Bus Paint Scheme

The reflective stripes are a great safety feature, but overall I think the new designs are fairly generic. Remove the Disney branding and they could be from anywhere. Having said that, it's a massive improvement over the outgoing design, which just screams early 90s. It's kinda like Yahoo!'s...

    Merida's New Look

I loathe these type of comments. They ignore the debate, and instead of focusing on the issue at hand resort to nasty supposition, Ad Hominem attacks and crass stereotypes. Tell me Victor, what important causes were undermined by the dissenting voices?

Why do you stay off site?

I do love the location of the Beach Club, I love the overall look and feel of it. Hate the price, hate the wear in the rooms, I especially hate the paper thin walls. With the prices Disney are charging they need to severely up their game for the standard of their "deluxe" range. But I do love BC...

    Disney Springs construction begins

Despite having been to Mall at Millenia, I'm still not familiar with FYE, so I just googled them.... f.y.e. - for your entertainment www.fye.com/‎ Shop for CDs, cassettes, video games, videotapes, and DVDs. That description is painful, No wonder they went out of business.

    Disney Springs construction begins

I've never visited a Gamestop in the U.S. But here, they all look absolutely tacky. White flooring that always manages to look dirty, tons of used games in various states of disarray, terrible layout, poor value and staff that don't know their products. If that description sounds familiar, then...

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

It's the most obvious thing in the world, but I've only just connected the two thanks to your post. How did I miss it? I mean, really... HOW? Now, I'm really curious as to how SM evolved and if there was any "awkwardness".

Should all character "autographs" be a stamp to save time?

It's this attitude that's endemic in the current management and it's what's been steadily eroding the magic in WDW. It's why fix the yeti, it's why replace the lightbulbs when they blow, why have individual/park specific merchandise/cups in each location, why build FLE in an acceptable...

    AVATAR progress

Hard to imagine Cameron signing off on a single ride such as Soarin Over Pandora. Sure, it would allow him to show off his world, but it's no WWOHP. Should Avatar fail, it would be fairly easy to repurpose.

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I agree, outside IP has become a crutch for all the parks. It reeks of a lack of confidence in their own people.

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

There's definitely a point at which you exhaust the potential of merchandise for a particular character. Diversification in that regard is a clear benefit. How much do the characters matter to people in terms of rides/lands? I've never seen/nor have I any desire to see either of the Cars...

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

The great thing about Facebook, twitter etc. is that there's the potential to extract analytics as regards a products "mindshare" - hate that word btw. I'd love to know if Disney has/does leverage this. Disney been slow as molasses in recent years in terms of bringing in any new attractions, but...

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I've been trying to find info - slow morning here in work - on how Avatar did in terms of merchandising. I see vague numbers, deals struck and predictions but nothing solid post release. Specifically, I'm wondering how it performed in relation to it's Box office gross. I don't think I ever saw...

AVATAR land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

It's funny, outside of the themepark blogs I never see this movie mentioned. It was the biggest movie in the world and then, poof, it's just disappeared from the popular consciousness. There may be the (very) occasional snide remark, regarding progress, on the sequels on the likes of...

    Monorails looking aged.

Only just found this website today and I've wasted my entire Sunday reading through it. It's fascinating stuff. Anyway, I was going to start posting in the WDW vs DL thread, but given that this is a quick observation...... Two of the cars I rode in this summer were in terrible condition. The...
