Not Disney...but will probably impact Disney

I would say anyone going to another country and do not speak the language should do some homework before they make the trip. Personal responsibility still has a place in our society-hopefully.

Epcot Holiday finale has turned for the worst

I believe it has more to do with the company policies that are often driven by Iger's political leanings. Maybe Iger and the big wigs could give up their private jets and help save the planet that way and let the rest of us enjoy our fireworks.

Should Disney get rid of the monorails?

Disney should use some that handsome profit the parks made last year and convert the monorails into a first class operation again. They are iconic Disney and there is absolutely no justification for letting any part of the park operations deteriorate to the point of the current monorail system.

Does anyone else forget the negatives?

I have stage IV COPD and do not use a scooter. But when and if the day comes I won't apologize or be made to feel guilty about using one. If people abuse the system that is on them.

Does anyone else forget the negatives?

I am totally with you on your post. If I have complaints about Disney I make them honestly and openly before and after the trip. However, when we go on our every two year vacation everything is positive for the 10 days we are there. Negativity is bottled up and we just enjoy every minute.

Does Mr. Toad's Wild Ride fall into the category of "absence makes the heart grow fonder?"

All I know is my kids enjoyed the ride and were disappointed when it went away. It was a "wild ride".

    Favorite park

Always go with kids or grandkids so it has to be MK. If the kids and grandkids were not with us it would still be MK. Been going as an adult for 43 years-something about walking down Main Street that never gets old. But do enjoy all of the parks.

    Photography etiquette within the parks

I am all for giving pictures takers some courtesies and tolerance but only if they are providing courtesy and consideration in return. This is not a one way street but we give pictures takers in most situations deference. After all it is Disney.

Who else is thinking about waiting until 2020 or so to go back to the World?

We went this past summer and since it is about 2500 miles round trip we generally go every two years. So 2020 is our next trip and I hope all the Star Wars hoopla is winding down. At my age 2020 will probably be my last trip. Was sick the entire trip this year and was barely able to...

Park exit stampede - how to identify our Minnie Van?

We have a party of 12 usually and time our exit from the park to beat the rush or wait until after the rush is over. Do not have the money for alternate transportation. The closing of the park at 10:00-right after HEA is part of the problem. Dump all the patrons out in the bus lines at...

Is there no nighttime parade in the MK anymore?

The Electric Parade was something my grandkids loved. They were so disappointed last summer when it was no longer. My entire family missed it and don't understand why it was discontinued. Wish they would bring it back soon-but not hopeful of that happening.

Yet another entertainment cut at AK

Have never seen them and evidently haven't missed much. No wonder they were axed.

    Disney Without Our Kids.

I am happy for all of you that can go without your kids and truly enjoy it. I just can't imagine going without my kids and my grandkids. The joy I see in how much fun they are having is priceless to me. Just wouldn't be the same without all of them. Besides if they weren't with me I would...

Which Splash Mountain song do you love most?

You had to bring this up and here I am sitting at my computer whistling Zip-a-Dee Doo-Dah. Thanks.

Which Splash Mountain song do you love most?

Zip-a-Dee Doo-Dah takes me back to my childhood and how happy that song made me feel. It is one of my all time favorite songs.

    Shared All Stars Buses

I am cheap and would rather wait for a bus instead of spending the money for a ride back to the resort. Plus we have anywhere from 6 to 12 people in our group heading back to the resort.

    Miserable CMs?! - My Experiences

We were at Disney in August and the CM were great. Of course we always threat them as special and forgive them and understand they may be out of sorts on occasions. They deserve a break sometimes because some people unfortunately are jerks.

    Toy Story Land

At least you would think in the summer they would leave the park open later so patrons could enjoy the park in the cool of late evening. Closing so early just smacks of cheap to me and now TL appearing to be a bit cheap. And ticket prices will be going up again next year right on schedule...
