News Disney to offer discount on new MagicBand designs as an optional alternative to complimentary solid color MagicBands

Yeah, I did the same on my family of 5. I had ones picked out for all three kids, and my wife wanted one, but it sold out. After waiting a trying again a few times over the next month or so I gave up and just got special ones for 2 of my 3 kids. I didn't want to wait around any longer and have...

Am I Alone... WDW Food is BAD

Isn't that the place that's like $350/plate? I've never been..

Am I Alone... WDW Food is BAD

Judging from the comments I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think some of the food at WDW is excellent. My wife and I always look forward to our favorites.. Maya Grill, Ohana, California Grill, San Angel Inn, etc. We've definitely had a few duds here or there, but for the most part always...

News WDW Food and Beverage Price Increases 10/1/2019

Haha, Ya Gotta Believe! That's surprising, we've had nothing but great experiences at Ohana, for both breakfast and dinner. We had similar thoughts about Biergarten last time, nothing specific, but nothing really spectacular either after being a must-do for years, so we're gonna skip it on the...

News WDW Food and Beverage Price Increases 10/1/2019

We honestly haven't been to the Yachtsman in a while, and I heard it's gone down in quality lately.. that's a shame. Yes, $50 for Ohana is expensive, but I personally don't think it's absolutely outrageous given the quality of food & drinks, atmosphere and entertainment for the kids. Obviously...

News WDW Food and Beverage Price Increases 10/1/2019

I'd take the steak at California Grill or Yachtsman any day over Smith and Wollensky, that place is completely overrated. Delmonicos or The Capital Grill is the place to go for a good steak, outside of Peter Lugers. I've said it before, but being used to NYC prices, I'm fine with the price and...

Can a 2-year old sleep in a CBR bed?

You can ask for as many bedrails as they have available. One of our trips with a 2 & 3 yr old we got 5 of the bedrails and essentially turned the queen bed into giant crib.

Ah, meant to quote their response on no FoP being available. I’ll edit that now.

Fast Pass Times - Syncing 3 Families

I'm a travel agent on the side, so I book alot of people's fastpasses. I've seen more and more where Slinky and FOP are completely gone for the first 2-3 days at 60 days out. Usually day 4 and on is a pretty good bet you can get whatever you want, so next time schedule your HS and AK days...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

I was at MK this past March and it got down to the mid-40s at night. It was pretty funny seeing some CMs in full winter overcoats, hats and mittens while I was slightly chilly in jeans and a t-shirt.

    Half day: Morning or Evening?

I'd always prefer evening, especially with EMH til Midnight (R.I.P. 3AM). Might just be because my wife and I (and now kids) are night owls, but I like seeing the park get emptier as the night goes on, and feel like there's more of a window to get more walk-on rides done later at night as...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

I apologize if this has been covered somewhere in the 1000+ prior pages, but I assume you have to transfer at CBR to get to HS from Epcot? If so how is the transfer process and how long does it take? Is it as simple as walking across a platform, or do you have to go up and down ramps like...

SWGE and Millennium Falcon Wait Times

Isn't September notoriously empty for both parks, especially mid-week?

Half Day Tickets just don't make sense for Nov. and Dec.

Right, I guess I didn’t think of anyone trying to use it on those days, but Every Tuesday and Wednesday, Epcot and MK are open til atleast 11 and 12 respectively. I’d really hope anyone would atleast check the park hours before deciding to buy a ticket.

Half Day Tickets just don't make sense for Nov. and Dec.

Why wouldn't it make sense? Obviously if you are an adult and are up at the crack of dawn and can stay in the parks all day, look elsewhere, but for alot of other people who aren't early risers or die-hards, it's not hard to see the appeal. I can't get my family of 5 to make a 9am rope drop if...

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opening day reports - Disney's Hollywood Studios

That's my point. I'd much rather wait out the opening day crowds and still get the exact same experience with my family going on a ride for the first time with less hassle. It doesn't matter if the ride has been open for a year, it's still the same ride (except for Expedition Everest, R.I.P...

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opening day reports - Disney's Hollywood Studios

I guess I could see that. There is nothing like going to a big game with a sellout crowd where you can feel the electricity in the air, and then saying 'I was there when... ' I just see going to a theme park as much more of an individual experience. When I'm there I'm trying to maximize my...

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opening day reports - Disney's Hollywood Studios

I don't get it either, I have no desire to wake up at 3am to spend all morning in a packed park. I'd personally much rather wait til the crowds die down and the inevitable kinks get worked out. But some people just like being first and apparently don't like sleeping, enjoy! 🤷‍♂️

Disney's value resort food courts to begin breakfast as early as 2:30am with the opening of Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

I meant Thursday, when people are going to be lining up hours before to get in on the first day it opens. I can see later on in Sept/October when 6am might get you something close to relatively empty, then it could be worth it.
