USF Then And Now - Photo Comparisons

You're not crazy. The "neck" (bridge) of the guitar was the first to go. In all its glory -

Should we have an official HHN24 thread to share the news?

That is very odd, particularly because there is no "scheduled leave time." If the park closes at midnight, for example, the scareactors in the 30 minute wait time house will leave before the scareactors in the 75 minute wait time house. Scareactors stay until the last guest has gone through...

How Long for the Hype to Wear Down?

In this unique situation (with Gringotts), your wait time is not so much dependent on rider demand, but more so on when the attraction will start runing a full capacity. As of now, all any of us can do is guess. One can only hope that it's running at least double the current capacity by...

My first Uni Trip (with comparisons)

Unfortunately, that's not my collection - just one of the only images I could find online showing the original Express Passes.

    Diagon Alley reviews thread

If you ask a team member on the London side where DA is, and they're "in character," they'll tell you that they don't know what you're talking about, and subtly refer you to the "entrance" and say something vague about how "there might be something over there."

On a review-related note, I'm a bit surprised by how the restrooms in DA aren't as crowded as I would have expected them to be. DA is crowded, and the restrooms are relatively small in capacity, but they've never appeared crowded during the opening week.

    Diagon Alley reviews thread

I agree. But, I'm curious, just to throw a thought into the mix - I wonder how these discussions might be different if, instead of the HE, Uni had built an un-themed train/tram transport with a view of the backstage areas akin to the Wildlife Express Train, but with all the same ticketing...

    Diagon Alley reviews thread

At least this answers a question posted in another thread regarding whether Uni employees are allowed to "grab you" at HHN. Looks like the answer pertaining to his hard ticket event is an affirmative "yes." ;)

    Diagon Alley reviews thread

Well, this post is the one that I find myself agreeing the most with you on. Primarily, because the issue discussed here is inherently subjective, the math is objective, and that every business is - at the end of the day - a business. The Butterbeer treats are a bit pricey, so I suppose that...

What about the die hard Pirates fans? The fact that they are forced by WDW to hop between Pirates and Legend in one day, or forego the complete pirate experience, is the modern equivalent of being forced to hop the plank. :banghead:

What about the die hard Little Mermaid fans? o_O They don't even have a train/tram to get them between Voyage and Journey. They have to take a bus, like the second-class citizen that the Park Hopper ticket prices make them out to be.

My first Uni Trip (with comparisons)

Haha, agreed. Yes, Universal did have the same system as the legacy FastPass. You can see some in the upper right corner of this fan's photo. They were printed on paper that was a bit longer than Disney's FPs.

    Jurassic park Archway Removed

But Disney would actually need to be constructing something in order to need the "netting" in the first place. ;)
