New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Why do I have the impression that the fire tower never works properly? Is it only me or...?

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Do you guys think adding more fire to the show would be feasible? Maybe in the lotus barges? Cause the fire tower didn't seem to be working very well on either presentations...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Couldn't agree more. After all of this, I thought that the Aurora Borealis finale would at least look cool. But again, as others have said, this show probably can't really be translated into a smartphone screen.

    AVATAR land construction progress

So... while searching for RoL updates on Twitter, I stumbled upon the "@visitpandora" account, which has a link to their webpage (visitpandora.com). The website seems to talk about ACE and Pandora as an incredible tourist destination (think of what Universal did for Jurassic World, making it...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I'm not even sure if Joe Rohde would actually come to AK for the premiere of RoL (although I doubt he wouldn't), but either way... Found this on his Instagram and thought it was pretty curious:

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Just so we're on the same page... Alcatraz is the mega Spider-Man-like E-Ticket, and Trowbridge is the Millennium Falcon simulator... right?

Soarin' Expansion and new Soarin' Around the World film

I don't understand why they didn't keep Soarin' over California in DCA. It made MUCH more sense over there.

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Are they actually adding more narration to the show? Why? I thought that the few lines in the beginning were pretty self-explanatory...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Random question for those who have seen the show: are these guys actually in the large lotus barge? (I know this is one of the early concept arts, so things have probably changed a lot since then)

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

This is a question that just popped in my mind although I'm pretty sure it has been answered before (sorry if that's the case): what will happen to Star Tours after SWL opens? Will it stay as it is, away from the new land, or will it be rethemed?

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Blog Mickey just released a video on some lighting, projection and water screen testing. Not sure if this is of any real importance, though. What really caught my eye was some sort of countdown clock that is projected onto the boat at roughly 0:46 seconds. Does anyone know what that could be?

    Brazilian Tour Groups

While I do agree with you (trust me, I hate the chanting as well), many Brazilians (unfortunately) do not have this mindset. That's just the way it is. (It's also worth remembering that Disney is one of the most - if not THE most - famous international tourist destination in Brazil, so you have...

    Brazilian Tour Groups

As a Brazilian myself, I totally agree with what @Goofyernmost said. It's more of a cultural thing rather than anything else - we Brazilians are loud by nature (even more when we're happy/excited or in large groups) - so I'd expect those types of things to happen often at a place like WDW. That...
