    Most Relaxing Ride?

On more than one occasion I've gotten so distracted soaking in the atmosphere that the CM has had to ask me if I was planning on riding again because I was about to miss the disembarkation point. Haven't taken them up on the offer yet (too much else to do), but one of these trips...

    FAREWELL WISHES (an appreciation thread)

Our first viewing was exactly two years ago today. I had surprised my soon-to-be-fiancee/now-wife on Valentine's Day with plans for an extended Disney weekend, and she found out two months later that it was intended to be an engagement celebration trip. Not surprisingly, that show took on a...

Thing you WANT to Do, But Can't

Honestly, the only way you can do it is if you're sharing. And even at that, my problem is I end up getting sleepy far quicker than I get intoxicated, and sleepy and slightly buzzed is no way to go through life (or Reflections of Earth).

    Rumor Bye Bye (Tiki) Birdies?

Repurpose the hardware, keep all of the original animatronics on display, and run portions of the show hourly, perhaps a full showing at the beginning of the day.

    Magic Kingdom Rides at Night

Co-signing TTA and Dumbo (two that we almost never do *until* nighttime) plus BTMRR, which "feels" like a completely different ride at night - we try to make that our last ride of the night, especially if we can get in line shortly before park closing.

    What's your favorite QS?

MK: Columbia Harbour House - lobster roll AK: Flame Tree BBQ - pulled pork sandwich Epcot: Tangierine Café - literally, anything on the menu - can't go wrong here

    What's your do-not-miss restaurant?

We try to mix it up as much as possible but our can't-miss restaurant on at least one of our MK days is Columbia Harbour House. I'll let others weigh in on whether it's a good "deal", but it's some of the highest-quality in-park food around, and the dining area upstairs is an incredible respite...

You are a Disney uberfan if....

My wife recites it on every single form of public transportation we find ourselves on...including the train to/from the MCO terminal.

Thing you WANT to Do, But Can't

Watch Illuminations: Reflections of Earth from the "control room" at the top of the Mexico pavilion (or so I'm told that where it is?).

    Favourite Disney Lounges

You're welcome - it's absolutely worth planning your visit around their planned performance times. We haven't yet had a chance to visit Mizner's proper (it was under renovation when we were there in November, so we ended up getting drinks at the Citricos bar instead), but listening to the Grand...

Geyser Point Bar and Grill now open at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort

I would assume that they'll handle it the same way that they handle drive-up guests at every other resort: it'll depend on crowd levels property-wide and capacity at that property that particular day. I can't imagine they'll treat Geyser Point visitors any differently than Trader Sam's or Crews...

    Illuminations vs. Rivers of light?

We saw RoL for the first time earlier this month. During the same trip, we watched RoE twice, after having watched it at least a dozen times on subsequent trips. Next trip, it's unlikely we'll go out of our way to use an FP+ on RoL and will spend that time riding Everest a half-dozen times...

    Half day at parks?

Right now, DHS is absolutely a half-day park and would be our first and only choice among the four. AM is preferable, so that you can rope-drop whatever you don't get FP+ reservations for.

    Favorite Photopass Locations

I know you already mentioned SSE, but during our last trip we got some pictures by one of the roving photographers using a fisheye lens, which made for a really unique effect (a CM friend mentioned that it's a relatively recent addition to that area). SSE is a magnet for fisheye-toting photogs...

    Transportation Question Park to Park

Check here: http://www.disneytouristblog.com/uber-disney-world-tips/ - based on my recollection, it's generally accurate. I'll emphasize the recommendation in the article regarding EPCOT -- have the driver drop you off at the Boardwalk Inn and take the International Gateway entrance instead of...

    Transportation Question Park to Park

Where'd you see that? Uber is prevalent throughout the resort and we've had no problems with pick-ups or drop-offs at parks, hotels, or Disney Springs the last several trips.

    Backpacks on rides

The only issue I've ever had with my own unreasonably-large camera backpack came on Spaceship Earth, of all places -- the door closed on one of the straps and I almost had to ride through a second time... Aside from that, you're right that Space Mountain is the diciest in terms of seat...

    AP parking question

Yeah, I believe that's the case, just give them your parking receipt from when you arrived that day and they should just give you a cash refund.
