Reusing the same floats chassis is most likely the cause here. Hopefully it doesn’t take them till spring to open this new parade.

Who says they aren’t? Priority is just elsewhere right now. Just because Disney is a multi billion dollar company, doesn’t mean all departments have unlimited budgets.

Would be bizarre to cast the entire parade for a D23 exhibit or bring the floats over two months early...

Nothing concrete. Floats are still being stored off property and there has been discussions about redesigning some costumes that are causing issues.

Supposedly, the parade has already been casted. I keep hearing whispers that it might be announced today and others saying the announcement had been delayed. This would be due to some of the floats being damaged while being transported.

I’ve been told rehearsals are starting soon with an opening date in August.

I’m hearing Mickey’s Soundsational Parade is to close around the same time MSEP comes back.

As the DLR has been in a constant state of construction lol. Just because they aren’t adding a new hotel right now doesn’t mean they’ve given up. Why expand DTD when it’s mostly a local destination? DLR will continue to see growth.

I’d expect an announcement sometime this week announcing MSEP’s return.

Except the reason that it’s a lot cheaper to run than PTN.

They were off property somewhere and recently photographed heading backstage. My hope would be just for D23, but rumors point elsewhere.
