Definitely apples to oranges. Disney can discount hotel rooms and captue revenue from park tickets, restaurants souvenirs etc. I suspect revenue from Brightline T shirt sales etc is nominal. It remains to be seen how many passengers are willing to pay a profitable fare.

Maybe. Months after FoP opened lines still extended far past the themed queue space. RotR and GotG have at least an hour themed queue space. Edited to add Slinky Dog suggests themed queues aren't necessary, Disney's opinion

Agreed. Would we, or Disney, prefer FoP length stand by queues? Dynamically priced LL? Priced so anyone willing to pay can ride? Disney seems to have decided, starting with RotR, that FoP queues isn't good show.

Obviously Disney doesn't want the long lines, in the heat, we see with FoP. Disney can keep most of of the queue inside. I don’t think it's terrible or stupid. I understand why some guests would prefer alternatives. The 1p drop accomodates guests who want to sleep late. It's obvious, at least...

This thread is speculation based on a rumor. I'll join those who think cleaning up the database may improve efficiency. There appears to be issues if a guest has too many MBs active.

Magic Bands have an electronic serial #. They get activated after purchase. They can be deactivated and reactivated. The rumor is Disney is going to deactivate all 1.0 bands, the entire group of serial #s associated with those bands. Rumor is guests will have the ability to reactivate those bands.

I read the blog. The rumor is all MB1.0 will be deactivated but guests will be able TO ACTIVATE the bands via DME. Very small yikes, if true.

I never bought that. Standardization, lower quality and reduced choices wasn't unique to restaurants. Same thing happened to bar offerings and merchandise.

Partially the result of AYCE, frequently buffet. The result is high prices, adequate quality and overweight guests. Guests who insist on eating enough to get their monies worth. Golden Corral quality at Disney pricing Toppolinos (sp) is a good choice
