If you're banned for life, how does Disney keep track and enforce the ban?

In the hotel business we also ban people for many reasons. There are methods to look for people and some have been mentioned here. But what banning enables for us is to charge the person with criminal trespass if they show up on our property again. That's instant arrest, a criminal record, and...

Disney Magical Express Split Stay Question

Yep. And it's because the DME is not a bus service, it is licensed as an airport transfer service between the airport and a Disney owned and operated hotel. Since the Swan is owned by Tishman and operated by Starwood it is not included in the DME service.

Is Disney going to stop my daughter?

There is an issue that goes over and above this and that's If the restaurant is at maximum capacity then they cannot allow the additional person regardless of attempts like this or age. The OP should try to get their daughter on the reservation.

'Ohana breakfast reservation while spending day at MK; is this feasible?

It's about 15 min give or take but allow 25-30 min minimum. You can have a wait for the next launch or monorail of 5-10 minutes and delays at stops along the way. And Disney expects people to check in about 15 minutes prior to their ADR.

    The Grey Stuff?

You can make it yourself at home. The recipe easily found online. It's essentially vanilla pudding, a little chocolate pudding for color, crushed Oreos, milk, and Cool Whip. Not worth going out of your way for.

    Mousekeepers Tip Themselves

Yep, there sure is more. That article does not lay out the actual sting correctly. Check Orlando Sentinel. They actually put $200 in twentys in the nightstand, not on it. She went in, opened the nightstand, and took a twenty. No chance she could mistake it as a tip. She was confronted by Disney...

    SSE WASTED SPACE

Actually, I've been going since opening day of Epcot and know of some of the spaces, maybe all. However, people also forget how much of it during the ATT era was just tube lights representing communications and not as filled as people remember. Still, it could be more now but my understanding...

    Dolphin 180+10?

The 180+10 is a perk for staying at a Disney operated resort. The Swan and Dolphin are not Disney owned or operated so the answer is a clear no. It will be 1 day at a time.

    Guests at Pools

Oh please, I know you're being sarcastic but that is in no way a violation of posted rule. They have become a registered day guest of the resort (available only if a paying guest asks for this) and so become covered by the rules. Nice try but you look kind of silly with this post.

    SSE WASTED SPACE

It's an omnimover ride just like Haunted Mansion, Little Mermaid, Buzz Lightyear etc. In other words it's a continuous chain of connected ride vehicles so they all have to move at the same speed. As well, the backward down section actually has a very tight spiral turn as it goes under a between...

Modified Monorail routes in effect during late May

So, you don't bother to read that the Contemporary is going to have service via the express line (so not screwed at all) and then have several posts ranting about a problem that doesn't exist and complaining about Disney when they actually are considering their guests. One has greater...

LA TIMES: Walt Disney World plans to deploy driverless shuttles

Well, that date was WDW's version. But the original was opened in DL in 1967 and the company had an entire division trying to sell the technology to cities, malls, airports etc but only got one sale to the Houston airport. DL's version was supposed to be a prototype for Disney's vision of Epcot...

    Rumor Bye Bye (Tiki) Birdies?

What kind of inane comment is that. Taking away an arcade and a clothing shop is pretty easy to understand. Why would you imply it's hard unless you really have no argument here.

    Rumor Bye Bye (Tiki) Birdies?

Traded Sams is nowhere near the Lobby. It's down the hall from Captain Cooks and the only things taken away were an under used arcade and a clothing shop. Trying to bring the lobby into this as something that Trader Sams took away is absurd in the extreme.

Leave a Legacy - Forgot where the tile is

That's the starting point but the last was sold in 2007 and would have to be somewhere in the park until 2027.

Access to Animal Kingdom Lodge Pools

The front desk does not control the access. The lifeguards are in charge of the pool area and the front desk will not override them. The safety of the pool area is the lifeguards' responsibility alone. If something happens, and it does albeit rarely, there would be no defence for having...

    RFID Cup question

Not really. RFID chips are 1 of 3 types, read only, read/write, or write once read many. Read only is exactly that, it can't be rewritten/reprogrammed. Read/write has a unique serial number that cannot be overwritten so if that number isn't in the company's database it can't be used. And write...

    Eisner Vs Iger

You obviously have strong feelings and that's ok. But you've one very strong word that seems inappropriate and that's "corrupt". That's not a minor accusation of Iger and not one I've seen supported anywhere. I think that you need to back up that statement. Eisner basically rescued the company...

People stealing resort towels, is it that big of an issue for Disney?

Lots of talk about the towels not being good enough to steal but as a hotelier I can say that that doesn't matter. People will steal anything. Would you steal single ply toilet paper, probably not but people do. Exactly why? Just because they can.

Disney testing new Express Fresh in-room dining

Why is everybody assuming that delivery to the door means on the hall floor or door handle. It doesn't. It means knocking on the door and giving the bag to you. It's delivered in 30 minutes and you will be there. The only things that change are that the food is delivered in disposable containers...
