WDW Favorite Attraction Poll #1-Seven Dwarf Mine Train VS Space Mountain

The Space Mountain vehicle has always been a bit difficult to get out of because you slide down during the ride and now with a bad left knee it’s impossible. So have to go with 7DMT.

    Are all pools heated?

In the colder times of the year all Disney pools, including Stormalong Bay, are heated to 82F.

    Save the Adventurers Club

Now it’s up to you to support your statement. In what way is it more complicated since what he said pretty much summed it up?

Man Arrested for Allegedly Groping a Face Character in WDW

The scanners are finger scanners not fingerprint scanners. They use lasers to in essence take a picture of the contours of your finger and create an identifier number. Many people will say they are fingerprints but they aren’t and are not close to the uniqueness of fingerprints. The uniqueness...

Fuel Rod swaps now $3 at WDW

Why would you? It’s like everything else that you buy you get the legalize when you buy it. Use the item thanks the terms.

    Roundabouts at Disney

They’ve been installing them near where I live and have marked them very well. You get lots of notice of which turnoff you take to go where you want and well marked with signs and road markings when you get there. Done right they are very easy to learn and use, even for us North Americans.

Fuel Rod swaps now $3 at WDW

Well actually they never said free refills forever. Reading their legal stuff on their site they state that all those terms and conditions could change at any time without notice and that there could be refill charges at “some locations”. So Fuel rod possibly adding the costs was part of the...

Worst Attraction Fail/Malfunction you have seen?

Um, as others said, that isn’t an attraction. It’s transportation.

And the Fountain of Nations petition begins

Actually, we do matter, but BEFORE the decision. I was asked to do a survey about the fountain’s future more than a year ago, and about future world a few months later. They do get data. But, like any organization, once the decision is made of course they stop listening. AFTER the decision it’s...

Anyone eaten at Tangerine Cafe lately?

Just ate there tonight. It was more than enough for us a very tasty as always. If it’s less it’s not by much.

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

Well, read my post more carefully. I said many are due to human factors I did not say all. But it’s clear that human factors are causing problems and that will definitely improve. And things happening early in an implementation after the general public first gets to use a service are to be...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

Rode it today and it is very comfortable. Temperature was 90 and the breeze made the gondolas quite comfortable. The ride is smooth with a minimal sway. The lines moved quickly at CBR, IG, and DHS. I got a chance to learn a bit about the stops (we had two 1 minute stops). They are mainly not...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

I’ve been involved in the hospitality industry for 30 years in different capacities. Every time a new service/system has been developed you think through what you believe is every contingency possible. Then you test and test, find new possible issues and create solutions. Then you finally open...

    Unsettling “security” checks.

Your initial assumption about Las Vegas is not entirely accurate. The bigger issue for hotels is actually human trafficking and specifically kids. Disney is a prime target for that and they will look in rooms for that reason. That’s also why checking luggage at check in would not address the...

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

And another method is they could clean a gondola like they sometimes do on the monorail, which i’ve seen several times. On the monorail they either block a section of a car or the whole car so guests can’t enter it. A cleaning staff with cleaning materials and/or cart then rides the car while it...

    Room security checks

And you are thinking incorrectly about this. One of the biggest issues impacting hotels, and not talked about much, is trafficking in human especially kids. Disney would be a prime spot to try this with all the kids there. Checking a room doesn’t necessarily mean they are looking for weapons or...

News Major Hurricane Dorian impacts to Walt Disney World 2019

Ok, so shingles torn from roofs, flooding eroding beaches, hallway doors knocked off and flooding in the hallways at the Polynesian, tree damage in the parks, palms blown down etcis nil. Hmm, no it isn’t when you see the impacts to operations and how long people had to wait to get out of their...

News Major Hurricane Dorian impacts to Walt Disney World 2019

And you will be wrong. I have been unlucky enough to be through a couple and also there during Matthew. It stayed off shore but all though slight there was damage and some flooding around Disney. Not a lot of damage but definitely not nil. It is folly to try to downplay these things. Plan for...

Luggage Delivery - ME - Value Resorts

But remember, it’s 3hrs after arrival at your resort, not landing at the airport. So, a 6:00 landing could easily mean 10:00 for luggage delivery. And it’s handled by Bags Inc not Disney.
