    Down rides tonight

"Using the My Disney Experience planning page or mobile app, you can lock in some of your must-do attractions and entertainment experiences—so you can relax and enjoy the moment with your family." (Disney website) Nothing about those FP queue photos looks relaxing to me :(

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

If you build it, they will come. It's not "If you build it well..." or "If you build it to exceed expectations..." etc. It's just, "If you build it..." Disney knows this. And, sadly, I will be among them to see it once it's done. (Yes, I know that the quote is "If you build it, he will...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Well, for Frostrom, we can just refer to the water as the tears of the Norwegian people.

Maybe Olaf can ride in the boat with the guests (like ET at Universal), and each guest seat could be equipped with a hair dryer... :D

    Great Movie Ride to Close?

There's a reason why certain films are on every college film course syllabus. Imagine a world history textbook that made no mention of any of the world wars. Whether we like them or not (certain films or wars for that matter), they're an important part of history.

Now what in the world would give you that idea? ;)

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

I optimistically hope for the same. While a lot of us seem to hate Disney for doing this, we should also remember the reasons why we love Disney. As far as I'm aware, none of us know 'exactly' what the revamped Norway pavilion will look like, so only time will tell. I disagree with the...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Is FP+ in use on the Disney cruise ships? I think that I booked my pool access for 5:45 pm - 6:45 pm, treadmill #9 in the fitness center from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm, and pub & grill access from 10:45 pm - 11:45 pm, which, along with cruising in general, is the epitome of leisure. o_O Edit: Oh...

    Great Movie Ride to Close?

A bus driver told me A bus driver told me that, with the Backlot Tour down, expect something along the lines of "The Great Michael Bay Ride."

    Great Movie Ride to Close?

There's nothing wrong with the ride vehicle, per se. I would simply suggest that there's a lot of potential for a much more immersive ride experience. Just as there's nothing "wrong" with the ride vehicles at the Universe of Energy, but Dinosaur does a better job of putting me "in" the...

Agreed! There's something to be said about originality. Even when it comes to completely unrelated stuff like, for example, the haunted mazes at Halloween Horror Nights, sometimes the "original" concept mazes are more impressive/enjoyable than the ones based on IPs.

    Great Movie Ride to Close?

With a soundstage that size, I could see a total revamp with different ride vehicles, maybe something like Spider-Man/Transformers through the classic movies scenes (the motion wouldn't need to be as aggressive). Whatever comes of it, I would like for it to retain its potpourri approach to the...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

It seems to me that, when all of the discussion is distilled down to the basic underlying concerns, they are that: 1. Frostrom is not an appropriate fit for a World Showcase attraction, and to the extent that a Frozen-based ride might be appropriate, it would be a better fit for another park...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Google definitions tells me that a "park" is "a large public green area in a town, used for recreation," where "recreation" means "activity done for enjoyment when one is not working" and synonymous with pleasure, leisure, relaxation, fun, enjoyment, entertainment, and amusement. WDW is a...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

There have been times (albeit rare) when I wasn't able to use my FP+ reservation due to last-minute/unforeseen circumstances. I'd hate to think that my unexpected inability to attend a FP-only attraction meant that another guest had to miss out. :(
