News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I think you are reading more into this than I am. I took away it's more just the feel of the land and the rides. Not straight Horror nights scary, but more of a scary tone than say Not So Scary. It doesn't mean the ride needs to be the most intense thing at Disney, just the vibe of the place...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I believe so. Piecing the rumors together, there's been a big fight behind the scenes of Courtyard vs Muppets. Originally taking out Muppets was winning, but it changed. Now it looks like Courtyard. So, they cancelled the Mermaid opening so they can move the entrance. It does not mean...

News New Event Space and Luxury Rooms Coming to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin by Summer 2026

Kind of weird seeing all these people I've seen attack Disney's new designs for being bland showing up and... attacking this design. Almost like it's not a personal hit at Disney by people who only want to attack Disney, people just genuinely don't like this super sterile design.

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Not sure anyone has ever said there should not be some replacement at the right times, but a park where you have single digit attractions desperately needs more, not replacements. I've said this in Muppets, but I get the idea of replacing it (I have attachment to it so I would hate it, but I...

I'll take the Yankees any day of the week over Boston. By far the most insufferable fans.

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

My favorite attraction, or my favorite land in Orlando? Haunted Mansion is probably my favorite attraction. Favorite area? Probably would be one of the DAK ones (Asia or Africa). The newer lands SHOULD be my favorites, but I just don't think they are executed well. Avatar was really awesome...

News New Event Space and Luxury Rooms Coming to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin by Summer 2026

That's really interesting. Going to stuff there, the parking is already a crazy price and gets pretty full if you aren't staying there. I wonder how this will effect any large meetings coming up in the next year.

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

LOL, I've been to Universal one time in my life, and that was 25 years ago. Their new park will get me back for a visit. I'm far from a Universal person, and I don't think those are amazing at all. The only one that is one I really go out of my way to get to on a visit is Guardians, and...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

But my point is, I'm not sure you find that equilibrium. It needs to be people that can afford that who are not currently paying for it. Basically, you need 10% (or 12%, whatever the number ends up) that are not currently willing to pay that because they can get MP, that have the means to do...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I don't think I agree. I think the only way it would go away is if they feel there is sufficient overlap of the categories. Basically, are there enough people that right now, would opt for MP instead of PP, but would switch to PP if MP is not offered. If that overlap is not there, you are...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I truly fear the reverberations of this among all other theme parks. The fact this is almost triple the cost of a fast pass at Cedar Fairs and Universal (depending on the times, even people not going to Disney could see REAL effects from this.

I counted Cars as taking those two. Villains would be an actual addition.

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

It is nice, but I don't ever remember it being overly busy either. I'm just not convinced a jazz style club is close to popular enough to justify it going in 2 spaces. But, in the end, I will still say until they open up parking/a way to get back to a car from Epcot/down there without multiple...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

But that's the thing, there already IS a jazz club on property. Am I really supposed to believe that Jazz is such a popular form of music it is needed in 2 different resorts?

News Disney raises price of Walt Disney World Annual Passes

If I had to guess, for the parks too. When I lived in St. Pete, we used to have passes (albeit they were like 1/4th the price they are now). Whenever I was in Orlando for concerts or other things, I'd legit go to Epcot and get a couple beers around the world and some food. Or maybe one of the...

    Moana 2 (Disney Animation - November 2024)

I'm not a big fan of using inflation, especially in the short term. For example, Median household income has dropped 5% from 2019 to 2022 according to the US Census. Since 1971, median income is up 27%, but tickets are up 85%. This also does not factor in the costs at the theaters. I'm just...

    Moana 2 (Disney Animation - November 2024)

I think the one thing that could really work against it is that I'm of the firm belief that the issues with movies right now are that have become too expensive for people to go more than once every month or 2, and you have a few big movies opening the weekend before. I'd be shocked if it...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Unless I'm mistaking, this is how it was done years ago. First, there were those red cards, then once they gave out magic bands, they had readers in the lines that helped them determine lengths. If so, then I doubt they turned those off, or couldn't get it up and running. I highly doubt it's...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I will say, I'm not sure they have changed this for LL. Hey @lentesta, have you ever taken your data and looked at the difference of wait time vs. posted by year? Has it gotten better or worse, and is there a point it started to get really bad? Personal experience, I really noticed it badly...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I 100% believe Disney COULD determine very close to exact wait times. They know how many LL's are coming, they know what time people are entering ques any time they have Magic Bands, and what time they get on rides, and how long dispatch times take.
