News All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

The quality of this could be terrible, and it's still a good thing for the park. Anything that's just a straight add like this is a good thing. But I think this will be at least a good parade anyways.

Wrongful Death Lawsuit and Disney's Scary Attempt

That's how I would lean too. But I can see the question being asked if they booked THROUGH the Disney website, and the booking gave promises of allergy accommodations.

Wrongful Death Lawsuit and Disney's Scary Attempt

Things go away a lot quicker when you admit to a mistake and move on. And the funny thing is, I am on the side that they would not really be responsible here. But trying to force it to arbitration because of the terms of your STREAMING service is nuts. I think making the case this is NOT a...

Nonsense. I've been assured that lower attendance is the goal if management to make sure the experiences are great. Are you saying that may not be the case?

That's honestly my exact thought too.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

There's also a TON of assumptions. Is Muppets really only half full almost all days? If it's 1,000 people an hour instead of 876, now it's 3 million. Do any attractions run at that max capacity? If it's average is 1,500, Now it's 2 million people. That also assumes no downtime. Lets assume...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

HA, if there is a limit, they are nowhere near it. BUT, your lines would only reduce if A.) it doesn't increase attendance significantly (and I know the numbers were run, but lets also be real, there will be a lot more down time with a coaster and things never run at max capacity, so I'd bet...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Everything we have heard is they are actually still fighting about where Monsters is going to go, so I can't imagine that has started. I actually think Tropical America will be the first to get under way if I had to guess.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I could see this being 4-5 years out. I wonder how many builders they are able to employ at a time (how many are in the area). We've seen staging already underway at DAK, and didn't they say prep work had already begun on Villains?

I'm not sure. That's an added labor cost employing all those people working there. They close it down for the work, they are saving in that respect.

Which is an interesting PR thought, cause really the alternative is instead of too much all at once, now you will extend the bad news and anger for much longer.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Problem is all that space under construction in 2018 is now cast member parking. So you are taking a HUGE chunk of cast member parking out to reroute that road, plus have their road they drive on to get to their parking.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Honestly, not sure I am completely, but I'd be fine if you just eliminate "Nostagic" from the line. How about "Again, remember this is the company eliminating anything if it's not making max profits for LL." Still gets my same point across that they aren't going to eliminate money making...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It's potentially a much larger area, and they don't have the budget this phase to put in anything that large is the only thing I could come up with. So you get the much smaller miniland in first, then your next phase is the larger plot as the big announcement at the next D23 (or the one after)...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Also, redirecting the perimeter road would mean taking out a large section of cast member parking. Plus, I highly doubt they would rather have a theater show (that will generate very little LL revenue or bring people to that area) instead of major dining and retail. Again, remember this is...

What dead space are you talking about? Indy to the fence at the park entrance is legit like 150 feet

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Quick look (and I know, I'm probably off here some), but going from the Animation Courtyard (taking out Disney Junior but leaving Mermaid) going back to RnRC gives you about a half acre more space than Muppets. The added benefit would be you then have an area to connect to that RnRC, which...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

That's what I can't figure out. People really aren't comprehending the size of the Muppets Courtyard. Slinky Dog by itself takes up more area than the entire Muppets Courtyard plus the little lot behind it. Edited to add, we probably need to move all this discussion over to Monsters thread.
