    The only "rough" steel coaster I've ridden was Vortex too many times. Others I haven't has much issues. Wood on the other hand, I feel like a ping pong ball.

    Apparently MIT came up with a general calculator for each state. For a single person with no children, living wage comes in at $17.72. Union asking for $18 isn't a huge jump. https://livingwage.mit.edu/states/12

    Sounds about normal to me. My employers cafeteria, just ordered lunch earlier today. Little over $8 for a burger (no toppings) and fries. Also why I don't order often.

    I worked at a Ponderosa and got a discount on the buffet. Kinda nice to have options.

    If employees were being paid enough for basics (i.e. rent, food, clothing) why would Disney be building affordable housing for their employees?

    That's exactly what happened for premiums. It was only half the cost precovid, then they cut their contribution and upped our weekly cost at the same time.     Someone mentioned it changed as well on another site. Is it a "high deductible" program? Ours got switched about 5 years ago to one. Absolutely hate it. Company quite contributing $600/year to employees half of the premiums last year, so deductible for family is $12k, and paying $48/week. I pay...
