I’m beginning to think everyone here is a goldfish. Every year Disney has a small round of layoffs in Sept, every year (or nearly every year) Disney announces entertainment cuts in September (with new ones announced for Spring launches before Christmas) and every time @Magenta Panther mentions...

The last time they announced a bunch of entertainment cuts, they launched nearly 1 for 1 replacements within a month or two., all of which were clearly in the works for a long time.

The breathless articles today about CA and FL are a bit crazy. I’m not defending Disney at this point...but ppl have lost their damn minds over SWGE. The minute by minute analysis of wait times, seriously? That is how we are measuring success? Again time will tell. Glad we didn’t judge NFL...

I think the biggest issue with both land openings is a misunderstanding of the vacation planning cycle. At current prices even announcing firm opening dates 6 months (were they even that long for WDW?) ahead is too late. Vacation planning cycles are 1-2 years out for most guests. It doesn’t...

I bet they do an ABC special just on the 50th anniversary, but not until sometime next year. To keep from interfering with 2020 bookings and that will have more details on what to expect. Do we know if the 50th will run for the Calendar year or not start until 10/1/21. I'm suspecting not...

Honestly. I would be surprised if WDW Ops want another night parade. The park is too busy, even with the hub enhancements. Parades bring out the worst in ppl at MK.

I’m surprised their detailed plans for Lighthouse haven’t leaked. So much of the process was available via public docs, I just assumed the details would be leaked/public by now.
