The castle lights simply CAN'T be put up until the 50th decorations are removed. Each section of lights is specifically designed to fit the shape of the castle. With all the 50th stuff, the lights can't be put up. Very simple. They'll be back next year. Why? Because marketing.

We won't get a fifth park but you are right about the other entrance. I firmly believe that part of the MK expansion will include a direct entrance resort similar to Grand Californian and possibly a public entrance as well.

Not to get into the minutia of a simple example, assume they've been doing what Disney has, cutting things and raising prices. They're at peak profit at current capacity. Best thing to do is raise capacity.
