Wow another vague general announcement that you can only find on social media. As a passholder with 2 future room reservations, I'd expect at least my own email that at least links to my account.

But these stations are behind bathroom doors and people you literally bump into along the way, so it's pointless you wash your hands and then touch another surface right after.

Lots of people use handwipes and sanitizers. Handwashing stations should replace drinking fountains.

A rack rate to me is a back-up plan and only if not an insane rate. I agree that $400 a night is stupid, but people still pay it, especially those who do packages and don't really do the math. $6000 for a week is easier to swallow than realizing you are paying 4 times the rate of most hotels...

They could close every other queue line and every other seat, not have parades or shows, and they could restrict capacity by only allowing 1/3 of those in by reservation only. I'm sure this is what executives are discussing, but it doesn't sound very feasible or fair.

I wonder if in X months when Disney opens, if they will change "please use all available space" to "please stay 6 feet behind the party ahead of you?" I'm always annoyed at people stepping on my heels and yelling at me to move up for leaving space in front of me.

Just another guess, Disney is not set-up to work on park construction remotely. These are such unique projects that a contractor is not going to know what some of these things are by just looking at some drawings.

My guess is that while contractors/construction are still allowed to work, these larger commercial projects require a large office staff that is not coming into work.

I would guess any number of things: availability is fluctuating a lot, the computers are slow so they can't check everything, or they were under a promo code that didn't have any availability under that rate. There's probably lots of rack rate available and Disney is happy for you to pay that...

The difference is there is more immunity and vaccine for flu. With this virus, there will be no vaccine for a long time and everyone gets it if you are exposed.
