Is Phase 2 of Pandora: The World of Avatar ever coming to Animal Kingdom?

I actually think Epcot is with all of the concrete and very few shade structures Anyway... Dinoland is definitely a priority over Avatar expansion, as well as another high-capacity family experience somewhere in Asia/Africa.

News Brief closure for Liberty Square Riverboat at Magic Kingdom

Ideally they can keep a sliver of the river and permanently dock it in Liberty Square, convert it into a public seating area that MK desperately needs. Parking it at the Grand Flo would be cool, but attaching it to the marina might block views. Port Orleans could work, but that would require...

    The future of Tomorrowland

Revert it back to the original white/retro aesthetics. Replace/Retheme Space Mountain - whatever happens in Tokyo (but keep the same exterior) Speedway - Cars will make this irrelevant, split the space in two between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland for expansions. Carousel of Progress - pending...

News New Spaceship Earth Lounge Coming to EPCOT

Agree - Epcot has become the hangout park for locals, so might as well take advantage and create areas that can take people away from the WS walkways. Future World has a lot of potential for nighttime experiences, they just haven't invested properly.

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

Yes - but 2025's film slate is worrying... but WDW should benefit from increased travel to Orlando next year. (Even if people skip a WDW park or two, Disney's hotels should benefit).

    New themed pavement in Adventureland?

Fascinating... maybe they're gonna slowly work on updating pavement through Adventureland before next year's closures? Get ahead of that work?

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

I wouldn't call these major E-tickets anymore though. I know ST has high-capacity, but I don't think it pulls as many people as it once used to.

How long do you think Carousel of Progress has left until its either updated or removed?

I'm a huge fan of the Carousel of Progress... but it's a massive chunk of capacity that is rather underutilized. For me, the biggest wow factor about it has always been the unique show system/animatronics... so wouldn't be against the removal of the existing story/concept. I think some sort of...

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I think they've been rotating them every day or two?

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

The entire eastern side of Disneyland & Magic Kingdom is ripe for capacity additions. Disneyland is loaded heavily onto just one side with 6 massive E-tickets, balanced by only Space Mountain & the Matterhorn on the other. It could use a decent amount of people eaters in the east.

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

Biggest issue with Universal is that they did a very good job in the 90's creating attractions that were thrilling in story, but family-friendly in motion (Jaws/Earthquake/Kongfrontation) and those have all been by roller coasters, motion simulator or both in Jaws' case. Universal needs to...

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

I've been saying for years now, Universal has a solid coaster line up and have maximized the "younder adult/thrill seeker" demographic... it's time to go after the family-friendly category of attractions. Epic is a decent start, but the current parks need more substantial dark rides and family...

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

Are people forgetting a massive showbuilding is required for the attraction?! You wouldn't want to put it in an area that blocks views from a deluxe hotel.

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

Yes, I've been saying for years that Epic Universe will be great but come at a cost to Universal if they don't properly develop USF. It's Universal's Epcot, it gets away with little/lack of investment because of all of the events. I think DAK will be severely impacted with a new park "worth"...

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

I think a lot of talk regarding Epic as a "Disney Killer" is exaggerated. What it will do is reduce attendance at the non-MK park depending on how Universal prices their tickets and how difficult it becomes to visit. Long-term, Universal Studios Florida is the secret ingredient to being more...

Rumor Hall of Presidents Replaced by Muppets American History Show???

Couple comments... Disney would have to make announcement before the election this year if they want to remove HoP. A decision in the next 3ish years to remove it will be seen as political (whether it is or isn't) I have been in multiple HoP shows and the audience making noise is significantly...

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

Yes - my assumption is that Universal gained lots of momentum from new experiences at IOA (Hagrid in 2019, VelociCoaster in 2021), but lost significant momentum when people started to realize how much the parks have fallen off maintenance wise and that Disney is still a better experience (yes...

News All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

Hoping for rumors/permits for possible crowd flow related projects to improve guest flow during parades and after fireworks. I think MK has reached attendance levels to make the bypass a permanent access point IMO. Really hope they can try to add either additional facades or an arcade like...

Will WDW be able to Compete Against Universal

Yes, my timeline is aligned w/ most of what Alicia says. I'd imagine Universal will start to really push some projects quicker than they anticipated. Doubt they expected Disney to build this much at (virtually) each park. MK will always be king in Orlando, but all other 7 (3 WDW, 3 UOR) parks...

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

The real question is what happens to Nemo? Does it become it's own "mini-land" in the time being? Just called "Theater of the Wild"?
