News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I'm the same way. I guess it's why I have no real attachment to Figment that a lot of people seem to have.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

I agree it pretty. But FJ has a better ride system. IMO of course.

It has the visuals. My problem is the 2 rides. I wouldn't wait any longer for SR than I would star tours. Rise is just another trackless. Both Harry Potter rides are what 10 years older? And both are better than these 2. GE needed a Guardians type ride. @Indy_UK nailed it. Impressive but boring.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Just like every other change Disney has ever made, people will be angry, then adjust, then accept it as the new normal.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

No I don't think a bil. But I could see 600 to 800 mil. Moana remains wildly popular on D+

Agreed. My favorites so far has Maleficent and Cruella. So maybe Mufasa will have quite a bit of the Scar story which would be a plus. I also thought Christopher Robin was quite good. The rest have been ok for me with some stinkers mixed in.

Does Moana 2 come out this year? If so I agree. It will do well.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

True. But I think live action was kinda the hot thing at the time so people went out to see it. I think people are cooling on LA a bit. Only my simple opinion of course.

I see no way Mufasa comes close to 1B. I think Inside Out 2 will do better, but still wont hit 1B.

My humble prediction is Deadpool will be strong enough to get them in the black for 2024.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

I can do 2-3 days of just resort hopping and Springs with 5 or 6 days in the parks. We're not heavy hitters in the parks and kind of just walk around hitting a few rides.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

I don't see how people do more than 3 days on a Universal vacation. I'm predicting at best Epic would make Universal a 3.5 day vacation for us. I can easily do 10 days at Disney

If TBA is to go VQ+ILL would that push 7DMT into the G+ realm?

Now that the proxy war is over, who SHOULD be the next CEO of Disney? (assuming Bob Iger actually leaves in 2026...)

They are looking outside. Rumor is the BOD favors Schmob Biger. He has an extensive background in turbocharging.

What should NOT have been replaced?

It may have been mentioned already though not a ride. I miss Osborn Lights Spectacular! It was the absolute must do at HS during Christmas time for us.

My magic band/cards page looks like a pile of clothes hangers. I wish I had the ability to clean it up.

Wish (Walt Disney Animation - November 2023)

I watched it last night for the first and last time. Just wasn't good. It will go the way of Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons.

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

So was D+ actually profitable or can they push D+ loses to other sectors somehow? Can companies play shell games? I'm asking as I don't understand the ins and outs.
