Is your daughter only allowed to draw fictional animals currently owned by The Walt Disney Company?

As a sidebar, I do think it's pretty funny that modern Disney can't even build a carousel without cramming IP into it.

Exactly. And now we come full circle to my original point. It's cool and all that everyone gets excited or whatever, but yall should honestly keep your expectations in check. Everytime some new announcements come around, everyone here has to shove their fingers in their ears and act like we...

Which won't open for at least five years after the land did. Point invalid.

Which would mean Avengers Campus has one E-ticket. Your point?

???? Toy Story Land has zero E-tickets. It has two D-tickets, one of which existed before TSL. Indy does not already exist in the form of Dinosaur. TSMM already existed and merely continued to exist after TSL. Indy will be a new attraction that opens with the Tropical Americas land, utilizing...

Lol I know they DID make lands with more than one headliner. But they DON'T currently. Maybe this will be the sole outlier to that trend. I just wouldn't bet on it.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I'd be pretty surprised if Encanto ended up being an E-ticket. Not saying it won't be, but Disney is definitely not known for building theme park lands with two E-ticket attractions. I would assume it's a D-ticket just based on Disney's track record.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Let me rephrase. I am not a proponent of replacing Dinosaur with movie IP. God knows we do not need any more of that trash. Disney should be replacing Dinosaur with an original attraction that keeps the dinosaur theme. And I'm not giving them a pass on that like many others on this board will...

Five Worst Attractions at the Magic Kingdom

Tron sucks to be honest, it took them ages to build it and it ended up being a super boring coaster that's also way too short. Lol compare it to any one of Universal's coasters and it's just so laughably inferior. So yeah in terms of headliners that would easily be the worst in my eyes. Outside...

No, it's not represented in IOA. If you aren't familiar with it, the Savage Land is a location typically featured in X-Men comics. Actually there's a Wolverine comic coming out in a few days that's taking place there. If Marvel wants to keep promoting the X-Men so much, which they almost...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

For what it's worth. Disney does actually have an IP that might work for bringing dinosaurs back to the park. In the Marvel Universe there's a very popular location called the Savage Land. It's basically a lost world filled with dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. If a Marvel movie or...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I think Dinosaur was great attraction for a very long time, but the version that exists today has embarassingly poor show quality. The increased lighting, neon paint on the dinosaurs, reduced thrills, the asteroid being replaced with a static Carnotaurus head, and on and on. It's honestly...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

#1 problem with Dinoland U.S.A. was budget. Always was. The idea of a land set in the badlands with paleontological digs and fossils everywhere, with a thrill ride that takes you back in time to witness the extinction of the dinosaurs (and thus, the origin of the all fossils in the surrounding...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

All due respect, but to be honest that's not really true, and I think it's unfortunate that dinosaur media has made people think this is true. Dinosaurs are most effective when they are scientifically accurate. This has been proven countless times and the only reason people think otherwise is...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

What is the obsession with dinosaurs? What kind of question even is that? Dinosaurs are inherently interesting. They are culturally important and awe-inspiring creatures, exactly the type of thing we should want more of in Animal Kingdom. Rather than movie franchises like Indiana Jones or...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Indy being more popular than Dinosaur has nothing, or very little, to do with the IP it's attached to. Hence why Splash Mountain was as popular as it was in spite of its IP, or why HM and PotC are as popular as they are regardless of their IP. Indy is just as good an attraction as pirates, I'd...

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

Hey everyone, been a while. All the news surrounding the parks (and my complicated feelings on it all) got me to come back out and post here again. So, I have just one question after not posting here for like a year or something. Can we get a Bob Iger meet & greet for Villains Land?

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

Ms. Marvel is honestly diversity done right. I'm not a huge fan of the character myself (I do not enjoy the whole teenage girl high school drama aspect, nor do I like the fangirl angle the character takes) but she's usually fairly well written, and her existence does not rely on legacy...
