Neither Housekeeping nor Lost and Found has been outsourced. It’s been brought online and still operated by Disney CMs. If you need to pick up an item person, Disney Springs Guest Relations is the new Central Lost and Found for Parks, water parks, ESPN WWS, and DS.
The moving of the building isn’t due to making it closer to management parking, they don’t even have costumes. It actually due to making it move convient for costumed CMs because CM parking is being moved to right behind this building.
What makes us so sure that they will tear the old building down? I could see them simply moving it to convenience CM's coming from the new parking lot.
That's what I'm thinking. @wdwmagic said that the problems were only in the marketplace, so it would make sense that they would create some kind of incentive for guests to travel to that area of Disney Springs.
If you go there it's very clear the new areas are not struggling as a whole. There may be a few stores that don't make it, but that doesn't mean that the whole thing is a failure. You just have to find the right type of stores that work in an area. Also the fact that restaurants are there...
I think that this suggests that Mama Melrose and other things in the area will be rethemed after Pizza Planet because the whole area is now going to rebranded to the muppets. It wouldn't make sense to have areas that are are still themed to New York in that area
