If it were me, I would just pay for the cereal and milk. It would just be the more economical choice. That way someone else in your party could use the Dining Points for a more $$ quick service meal.

A taxi might be the best, but I would bus to the Magic Kingdom and then grab the ferry to the Hoop-de-do. We took the bus all the way to the hoop-de-do the first time we went and it seemed to take forever.

It might not be canned, but in pre show of the RNR someone used to yell "How 'bout some back stage passes!", but I haven't heard it yelled in a while.

It in no way matters that the deaths are not "directly" related to Mission:Space. The fact is that public perception vastly outweighs the truth. I don't see the ride closing as soon as the OP, but I could see Disney closing it if the lines dry up and they have a new concept to put in its place.

Not sure if this will hold true for you, but when we went for Thanksgiving '05 the ME bus was direct to Pop Century. In fact it was a dedicated bus for only Pop Century. I think they do share with other "on site" Disney Resorts at slow times but use dedicated buses at the busy times. On a side...
