Couldn't agree more. I think I've lost interest if anything. If the clues all came in one day or something, fine, but dragging it out for weeks is just annoying.

My concern with that is I'd really want the medal, but I'd really want to marathon medal too. I can't get both :mad:

Good!! As someone that doesn't drink, it's nice that Disney agrees that alcohol isn't necessary to have a good time. World Showcase at night can be annoying because some people seem to see it as a chance to get hammered.

That's how I felt before my training got off track, but now my goal is to make the most of the experience. I'll worry about time at a different marathon that doesn't have as much to offer as WDW.

Can someone that's run the full or half marathon tell me basically where the characters are and how frequent (mileage wise) they are? Are there characters in the non-park sections? The reason I ask is that my training derailed because of finals and ive given up my time goal, so now my goal is...

I got a belt awhile ago for runs over an hour, but couldn't seem to get it to stay and be comfortable except for right across my hips. I think, but I'm not certain, that the pressure from the belt against my left hip flexor ended up giving me a hip flexor strain I'm still fighting a month later...

I agree that 3D is a gimmick most of the time. Luckily, they almost always release movies in 2D also, so I'll be seeing Pirates in 2D. Maybe enough people see the 2D versions instead of the 3D than the studios will take the hint.

We were down there for this years and saw all the runners, which made me want to run it. I started training last week to see if I can. I just looked for this same info the other day since we'll be there from 1/3 to 1/10. It seems like people think the lights will be up until the 3rd or 4th. The Osbourne Lights have a scheduled end date of the 4th. I haven't found an official schedule for the castle lights anywhere.

Online isn't as exciting as having two or three people all start calling at 6:55 and keep hitting redial until they get through. I'd miss that if it was all online.
