I was working at the Magic Kingdom Monorail station that night. A family who was waiting for the rain to stop started joking around with me saying the rain and thunder were great special effects, but wanted to know when they would stop! At least we all were able to chuckle about that heh.

I know this thread is almost 4 years old? BUT I have to say this. Keep the facade...it is too closely tied into the parks Identity as much as Disney might not want it to be. Keep the Great Movie Ride...but update it, take out some scenes replace them with new ones....fix broken scenes. Or...

Smart move on Disney's Part. The association with Metro Goldwyn Mayer has def faded since the parks opening. However had they named it Disney Pixar Studios....it like said in some other posts here would pigeon hole the park in my opinion. So Disneys Hollywood Studio I think is a good choice...

Bedknobs and Broomsticks, one of my all time favorite movies Disney or Non. But yeah its interesting how they treat some movies differently.
