    jet ski's at L M A show

The CM wasn't BSing you, Gary... they have bottomed out the jet skis in there. Once they start using the jet skis, you'll see just how shallow that water is when someone walks through it... it's only about waist high.

    jet ski's at L M A show

To my knowledge, they hadn't been used in the show yet... but if MiceAge has pictures of it, I'm assuming Sunday is the only day we've used them. The jet ski scene fits into the motorcycle sequence, and is pretty short, but impressive. I've only seen them rehearsing, but it's definitely a good...

    CMs and Grad Nite

I have quite an interesting story from last night... I worked yesterday at LMA (from 11 AM-6:45 PM) and I wanted to pull some overtime, so I called MK to see if I could pick up a Grad Nite shift. They had me come in from 8 PM to 4 AM at Speedway (where I used to work). Around 2 or 2:30 (it...

4-24-05 Disney-MGM Studios construction (photo update)

Studio Catering Company will reopen on May 5 in conjuction with the Happiest Celebration on Earth, and LMA. It's being put in to provide somewhere for all those hungry people to go eat, now that there's a reason to be back there. As a side note, a full service bar will also be put in there so...

    LMAX Hosts

Too bad you're wrong, Montu... The first things printed by Disney DID have LMAX as the acronym... Don't believe me? Research the forums... I was one of the first people on here to start using LMAX as well... because that's what I had read online and at work. There's no reason to be so rude...

    Mini WDW Update

Oh the ever changing word on LMA... we will be doing shows every now and then, but not regularly until May 5. Most shows will be done one weekends, but at this point there's no guarantee if there will be a show. I went to work last Sunday, planning to work two shows, and they told me they had...

    4/18/05 LMAX and EE Mini-update

When I say Shamu Effect I'm referring to water being shot at/into the audience... It's supposed to hit at least the first few rows toward the center of the stadium.

    LMAX Hosts

At first, things were stated as LMAX, but it is officially referred to as LMA... Just thought I'd chime in and let you know, but I don't see it being a big deal... I haven't seen or heard of Dennis, Don, Olja, Kevin, or Tracy returning to Millionaire since they've moved to LMA (Tracy left...

    Iger Is Taking Over When!?

I agree with all of you guys about Eisner and his extreme importance to the company... however, he is long due to step down. Yes, back when he joined the management team (which, team btw is HIS word... really a big fan of it, lol) the company was flailing, and without him the company would...

    4/18/05 LMAX and EE Mini-update

Yes... the jet skis have been at LMA since February... it's just that they haven't been in the show yet. Some spoilers are included in the rest of this post, so read at your own risk... I was at work on Sunday, and we had no shows at LMA. Instead, new directors and first assistant...

    Iger Is Taking Over When!?

What are your sources for the planned replacement of the San Fran facade? I work right down the street, literally... and never heard ANY mention of it.. Maybe things are different at LMA but we knew about rehabs and changes in T-Land before they happened. On the note of Eisner and Iger being...

    Iger Is Taking Over When!?

Nice... thanks guys! Personally, I like Iger more than Eisner. And from what I've heard from those whom I work with, he seems to be better at people skills and is not quite as conservative with money as Eisner. For example... have you noticed how they're replacing the San Fransisco facade...

    Iger Is Taking Over When!?

OK... so I though Bob Iger would be replacing Eisner as CEO next year, October 1, 2006, but according do Disney Online he's taking over October 1, 2005?! Could someone please set me straight? I'm hoping for the latter!

    The Not-So-Obvious Update

Just a side note, they call them Rescue Rangers because they come in to 'rescue' the shift when someone calls in... hehehe... those Disney people... always thinkin'!

    ISTCrew's March 13th WDW Update

Indy has 1900 seats... The best place to sit (in all honesty) is the top of the stadium, although you'll have the roof supports in your way. On a busy day, there probably will be a need for that many seats. The benches do not have seatbacks, to my dismay...

    MGM on a rainy day

Lights, Motors, Action! will run, rain or shine. We actually spray down the stage before and during the show. Since Florida is so rainy, they only do shows on wet asphalt.

Is it just me, or did you miss this too?

We DIDN'T used to be tightly run, but in the last few weeks, T-Land has had some changes... one of the reasons I'm happy to be at Studios now...
