News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

I haven't been active on this site in a long while, but I thought I'd return to pay tribute to one of the greatest Disney rides I ever had the opportunity to ride. So long, Splash Mountain. You will be missed.

    They are baack

The problem with the Brazilian tour groups isn't their nationality or language, it's their often pushy and disrespectful behavior. A pushy and disrespectful American family is just as bad in most cases.

    So who is going?

I'm going to be holding off on visits for a while, at least until we get some genuine improvement in the parks. Cutting perks while raising prices, with only a handful of lazily tacked-together attractions to make up for it? No thank you.

    LIGHTNING LANE SUCKS

I'm not saying that Iger's free of sin. Quite on the contrary actually, I know he's the reason behind a lot of the bad decisions that have plagued Disney parks as of recently, such as the Splash Mountain retheme. But I don't think even he would stoop as low as Chapek's gone now, with all the...

Food portion cuts to increase profits?

More penny-pinching from Greedy Bob... It's become his specialty these days to offer less for more. A portion decrease would be acceptable if they cut prices down, or if they raised the quality of the food, but we all know they're going to do neither of these. Just more penny pinching to...

    LIGHTNING LANE SUCKS

Greed is the primary motivating factor behind most, if not all Bob Paycheck's decisions, excluding a few that were carried over from the Iger era. (Because while Iger was still greedy, at least he had somewhat of a sense of decency.) He's motivated solely by the promise of profits and appeasing...

Why would anyone stay onsite at a WDW Resort anymore?

If you asked me this question about a year ago it'd be a resounding "yes," but now that a lot of the benefits of staying on-site are being phased out and the costs are being jacked up yet again, now you have me wavering. On-site hotels have a certain charm to them that is unmatched, thanks in...

Disney forcing us to $pend even more at their re$ort$

Bob "Cheapskate" Chapek, aka "Greedy Bob," aka "Bob Paycheck," is absolutely convinced that the best way to move the Disney parks forward is to squeeze every penny possible out of the guests while also sacrificing the detailed theming and top-tier dedication to guest experience that Disney was...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I'll give it until Christmas at most.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I really think that this sort of system is the beginning of the end for Disney. I could somewhat tolerate the other budget cuts and price gouging, simply because of my love for Disney, but this is just egregious, the cherry on top of Bob Paycheck's sundae. I will be boycotting Disney parks...

What is the future of Typhoon Lagoon?

I doubt it's gone for good, but we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Any news on a return date for Hoop-De-Doo Revue and the Polynesian Luau shows?

Well if that's true, it's rather unfortunate. I've only done the luau once, but it was still a pretty fun experience and it added an additional sort of charm to the Poly. Getting rid of it and replacing it with another DVC building would take away from that charm, but with the IPification of the...

    Will Harmonious Survive?

I mean the show isn't on the level of IllumiNations, but it's not terrible. I think the real issue here are the eyesore barges that were built immobile for some reason and totally screw up the atmosphere of World Showcase.
