We're at 18 days out and we were able to book. My question: did it show up (right away or eventually) on your "my itinerary" or "my plans" pages after booking?

As I was getting ready to call I checked the site one more time. The glitch, after impeding me for 24 hours, disappeared and I was able to get the FP+ booked for our departure days. Thanks again to all for your advice.

Thanks, all, for the good advice. We have annual passes that are good well into 2014, so it sounds like that should cover our departure day FP+ selections. I will call!
