Between the last day of the summer season, they have private parties and then they are open for HP in the Dark. Then beginning on November 15th, they re-open for Christmas Candylane. Speaking of Christmas Candylane, I'll be hosting a meet-up at the park for that event on November 16th. More...

"Hersheypark in the Dark" is more of a family-friendly event. The park is decorated with pumpkins, hay bales, scarecrows plus they have Treatville for the trick-or-treaters. All rides and coasters are running, with the exception of the water attractions, all for a much cheaper gate admission...

Hershey tried their hand at a haunted house back in 2004 and was very successful with it. There was talks about bringing it back for 2005 because it was a hit but then they decided to drop it because they wanted the main focus of their event to be aimed towards families as it always was. I'm...

Their Halloween event (Hersheypark in the Dark) is basically the entire park available, minus the Boardwalk and the water attractions. All coasters should be up and running as well - all for a cheaper price, plus you get the fall colors as an added bonus as well.

If you guys aren't sure when you're coming (you, your mom and brother), you ought to consider coming out on July 20th for the meet-up. Just a suggestion. It would only get you pumped up again for your 7/31 trip back!

Are you referring to Roller Soaker? If so, then you can blame that on maintenance and poor capacity. I know the extra slides, sprayground and seating were all added to help boost capacity. Even on none-busy days, Roller Soaker would have close to a fifteen/twenty minute wait. It was a great...
