Couldn't you trade names and give the other person's name at your new reservation? Granted, I travel at slow times, but I don't believe I've ever had a cast member check my id for a dining reservation.

You might also consider a split stay. We were able to do AKL (not value) and OKW as a split through DVC Kingdom earlier this year. Truthfully, we liked OKW better and wished we’d done the whole trip there.
