1 day, 1 park, no attractions, where would you go?

If you only had one day to visit a park or resort in WDW, but could not visit any attraction, which park or resort would you spend a day at? You can start from rope drop to closing but you can not go to a ride or to a theater, just be inside the park (that means parades and fireworks count)...

Trip Report COMPLETED! Our First Family Trip...Oh, and My Disney Wedding! A PeoplemoverTTA Trip Report.

I'm usually just a lurker here (love living vicariously in WDW through trip reports) but I had to commend you for your Evita reference! That was the play that made me fall in love with musical theatre. Anyone that can combine my two passions (Disney and theatre) is doing a fantastic job at...

    Best Experiences in Line/On Rides

I was in single rider line for EE, and overheard the two guys in front of me talking. It was obvious that they were cast members and that they must have been "friends" of a character. I asked them what they did at WDW (I didn't have my kids) and they said that they weren't supposed to talk...

Something bad that turned into something magical...

I love reading threads about other people's experiences in the parks, especially the magical ones! So, I would like to hear about times that something bad happened in WDW but it turned out better than you could have ever expected!! My story... I was with my family in MK, we were in Fantasyland...

    Fun Facts

The Otis Elevator Company helped build ToT, when asked if they would like to sponsor the ride as a form of advertising, they politely declined (for obvious reasons).

    Some questions from a first-timer

First, in terms of price go to mousesavers.com, gives great advice about what deal is best for you and even lists any discounts or deals that might be going on during your visit (there are discounts for the period you will be visiting). Second, do a little research into the rides. Do you like...

    Accident on Pirates

What I don't get is how giving a simple warning that is easy to follow and reasonable to expect would increase liability. Where I live, there are deer crossing signs all over the place, and at least once a week I see the remains of a deer that had been hit by a car. So the DOT knows there is a...

    Accident on Pirates

Back to issue of clearance, I helped design the "Journey to Atlantis" ride for Sea World. They had a template to put on every piece of drafting showing the ride path. It was hilarious, showed a figure reaching up, leaning off the side of the ride vehicle, and one in between for every seat...

Trip Report **COMPLETE** 'Tried the grey stuff it's delicious... don't believe us ask the dishes!!!

Really fun reading your TR. I enjoy your storytelling to go along with the pictures. One little thing, however, I believe the umbrella you posed with if meant to be from "Singing in the Rain" as opposed to "Mary Poppins". Not trying to be a know-it-all, just thought you'd like to know. Oh...

    Themed lands and areas

I can't believe no one else has voted for Morocco as their favorite themed area (also the best counter service food)! I love that area, walking around really gives the feeling of being at a bazaar. Least favorite has to Chester and Hester's

Did I Really Just See That.....in Disney World?????

Sorry I came to this party late. Some funny stories (as well as horrifying ones). Again, I'll make this one about my family... My youngest son was adopted from the foster system. We had already booked a WDW vacation when he came to our family as a respite case (a temporary placement) when it...

Best Attraction To Visit at Night?

I searched, but couldn't find a thread on this topic. I'm wondering what is your favorite attraction to visit at night. To set some ground rules for the discussion... -It has to have an outdoor element (obviously) -I'm not talking about firework shows or parades, just rides -It can be in any...

    Disney secrets

My favorite used to be the letters that had fallen inside the glass "Directory" case in ToT that spelled "EVIL TOWER U R DOOMED" but I think I read somewhere that those aren't there anymore. Been awhile since I was there so can someone confirm or deny their existence?
