Exactly. They can't keep delivering these sub-par experiences and expect people to be okay with paying top dollar. It's reached a breaking point now. Gotta hit them where it hurts and in this case, it's the $$$.
Really? I could have sworn @marni1971 mentioned back in 2019ish that the film was already shot but maybe I'm mistaken. I see your point about them wanting to wait until things calm down. Makes sense
Tropical Americas is the first piece of "Blue Sky" art that was publicly released in HD downloads for press/media. All others were just images shown on-screen at the Expo. With that in mind, Tropical Americas sounds pretty much set in stone and not as Blue Sky as we think. The land actually...
Tropical Americas was the first piece of "Blue Sky" concept art to actually be available for media/press to download.... doesn't sound like something that's blue sky. Little details might change but I think what the art shows will pretty much be what we're getting
I wouldn't say the ride as a whole is in bad shape but the major animatronics are in bad shape. The first Ariel figure barely moves anymore and her mouth is completely busted. The mechanics need a major tune-up and the figures could use some new skin but aside from a short refurb, the ride...
DHS is leaps and bounds better just in terms of atmosphere when compared to WDS. DHS could use a couple more basic flat rides to round things out but there is still a substantial amount of attractions to keep a guest there from park open to close especially with Fantasmic. Can't say the same for...
Disney auditions posted this picture of a FOF role that isn't currently in the parade saying "Away we go, it's a Festival of Fantasy 💫 @WaltDisneyWorld is seeking Parade Performers now through April 18. Submit online at the link our bio!"
Surely they had other pictures of the parade to post so...
I feel like with the Mickey 50 Cavalcade now finished, they can allocate the $$ they used to run that back over to the Trolley Show. Prior to the pandemic, a good chunk of the dancers doubled in FOF as well.
I don't know if it's worth changing but the recent update videos Disney released regarding Bayou Adventure state a "2024" opening now as opposed to "late 2024."
I noticed this too the other day. The descent was a lot brighter this time around. I don't know if maybe the screens in the ride vehicle had their brightness adjusted cause I looked around and those were the only sources of light.
The reason why all the figures in Mermaid look "off-brand" is becasue Disney didn't build any of them, aside from Ursula. Garner Holt Productions built all the complex figures in that ride then another company called Advanced Animations built the more simple figures like the fish spitting out a...
Yea, the fact that WOC- One has already announced it will be using a virtual queue but nothing yet for MMRR, hopefully, they do go the standby route. Do we think this will be a LL attraction?
Before Covid, we weren't heading toward a recession. There are all the more reasons for attendance to decline next year, including a decreased value to the park experience/perks but now at an increase in price. So many more families are being priced out and as I said before, we're nearing the...
Disney's attendance crash will definitely be evident beginning in 2023. This is the first holiday season at DL & WDW without any pandemic restrictions so for families who were waiting for things to be back to "normal" and the holidays being the only time they can travel, we're nearing the end of...
They could rebuild some of them as they did with the three cabs at Epcot but at that point just build brand new figures. Maybe some of the smaller basic figures could be reused like the raccoon playing the turtle. The entire finale just needs to go to the landfill though
Hopefully, they don't because that Imagineer who posted that picture on insta was responsible for the animation in Enchantment. Hopefully, he's not touching the actual castle animations in HEA and is just adding additional animation to Main Street.
