Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom Walkway

We just got back and as I expected and was mentioned while we were gone, the path was closed because they have moved on to working on Sago as well. It still is slightly frustrating that they figured out a fairly dangerous way to keep the path open from Poly to GF but couldn't figure out a way...

Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom Walkway

Are they working on sago key? My understanding was they were only on sugarloaf at this point. I would agree work on sago key would make it make a bit more sense, but as others mentioned the way they have people walking from the poly right now would make me think they could have come up with...

Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom Walkway

I do have to also say, and maybe I am missing something, but isn't the construction currently on sugarloaf key? Which is not necessarily near the walking path? I could walk out the lobby and by the convention center to get to the path if they didn't want people walking from the center of the...

Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom Walkway

Man this is a big bummer for our family. One of the huge draws for us staying at the Floridian is being able to walk to MK from there and not worry about the monorail or boat with two kids and a double stroller.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Ah yes I see that now...when I originally read the post the end said that it was disappointing Disney hadn't picked up on that...Weird! I agree that this is would be a great system to use can't wait to see it in actual use.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I'm confused...doesn't it say the lockers are double sided? or is what they are doing not what you are describing? I haven't been on Velocicoaster as yet unfortunately.

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

I agree. I was hoping for at least noon which I feel is more reasonable than 2. For us our animal kingdom day is typically done by 10 am and in the old days we would move to the next park and spend more money. Now if we’re done we don’t have that option so it’s usually back to the pool, which I...

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

Can't agree with this more. I actually got a passholder survey yesterday and the difference between an out of state/DVC AP holder vs what the traditional local AP holder does was a constant theme in my feedback.

    MagicBand+ announced

Received ship notification for our bands for our stay that starts 8/21 this morning. Based on how long it took the AP one that shipped to me, I am not optimistic that these will arrive by next Saturday...which is sad.

    MagicBand+ announced

I placed two orders on the 27th...one was for our trip coming up with everyone in our family and the other was my individual ap. Received notification that my ap one (4 park version) shipped on 8/2. Tracking didn't show movement until just this morning. Finally.

Moonlight Magic Registration Dates for Typhoon Lagoon

The email I received initially said the link would appear on the information page so I am hoping that is the case because I did not receive anything past that. It's been a minute since we had a stay around one of these dates so I can't remember how it was in the past.

News Walt Disney World's iconic Twilight Zone Tower of Terror billboard to be permanently removed

This seems like a small thing but it's a bummer for me. I always love seeing the billboards on the way from the airport and on property showing what you will be experiencing. Now that I have kids, I love hearing and seeing their reactions to things, and this was something that would be an...

Was wondering about this…were you able to get both an ap and a Dvc time if available?

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I started out about 10,500 deep in the queue and was able to get an afternoon slot on the 18th. I had 3 options at that time. Glad we were able to snag one and also work flights and hotels in a very short window.

Splash pads at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Wilderness Lodge closing for refurbishments late February 2022

Welp that's a bummer for my kids. First stay at Copper Creek too.

    7 month dates?

I figured out the problem...our original stay was for more than 7 nights so when I tried to modify it it would not allow it. I was able to book this morning for what I could and I will have to hope the first night pops up otherwise we will be enjoying a different resort! Weird that's the first...

    7 month dates?

Happy New Year! Has anyone else encountered issues with the 7 month booking allowance this morning? I was trying to book for our August 1st trip and it keeps telling me I am outside of my 7 month window. According to their own calculator, I should be able to book and I also checked a couple...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

When we held annual passes for Universal we were able to pay monthly as out of staters. Not sure if that's still the case.
